Nalani Harmony lives with her grandmother Nui in Kawela Bay, Hawaii. She moved there when she was 5 after a horrific accident involving her and her parents. It took away the sight in her right eye. And her parents. Nalani refuses to open up to anyone except her grandma. That changes when she meets Kamea, Kale and a mysterious boy named Bane.
