Cookie Nappers

The dark room was silent, motionless....

The soft thud of a soft-heeled shoe gently thudded on the wodden floor

The continuous footsteps are rhythmic, precise and stealthy

A small figure crept through the darkness, swiftly moving through furniture

The small one unlocked the window quietly and slid it up, reaching outside

It grasped an arm and hoisted the person inside the room

The newly entered figure was taller than the smaller one

"Do they have it?" The bigger one asked, his soft voice was barely above a whisper

"They sure do!" The smaller figure grinned enthusiastically, her grin was evident even though the male couldn't see it

"Let's hurry up! I've got something important going on tomorrow!" The boy hissed softly

"Oh yeah! You're gonna be with him" The girl snickered

The two walked cautiously as they reached their destination

Quickly grabbing their desired items, they stealthily jumped out the window the male came from and disappeared into the night

~The Next Day~

"Momma! Where is my cwookies?" Wailed a small four year old girl, her eyes tearing up.

"I'll get you a cookie sweetie, just wait." Her mother smiled as she walked into the kitchen and opened the cupboards where they kept the snacks

She reached for a jar and placed it on the table, opening it and staring wide-eyed

The cookies were gone

"Felix! Did you eat all the cookies?" She asked her thirteen year old son, who came into the kitchen.

"No, I actually came to get one just now.." He replied

The woman looked around and sighed, her gaze resting on her daughter

She put the jar bacm inside the cupboard and opened another cookie jar, finding the same thing

All their cookies disappeared overnight
