Nearly two decades ago Vampires rallied together, attempting and succeding to take over the world and sending humans into hiding. Over the years humans have band together to create Hunting Covens scattered across the world to combat the vampires. Two of the most powerful covens, Barabaras and Mikol are known for having the most powerful slayers and hunters, but when turmoil causes Cadie to leave the Barabaras clan she turns to Mikol Coven to continue her training, her world is turned completely upside down. She soon realizes that the two covens are nothing alike and that maybe, possibly she could be the one to turn the tide and help win the war against the bloodsuckers...the only question is how....
