Calm Before the Storm
I would tell you about the rest of the day but I’m under that contract you know. So I'll just say it was a lot of fun. It was to be a two-day shoot. We finished up the first day at about four in the morning. "You ready to turn in," asked Andy jokingly.
"Oh my god yes! It's been almost a 12-hour day," I laughed, "It's been fun though."
"Ok everyone we resume shooting at 10 am," called the Assistant Director.
"Uggghhh," groaned Dani.
It was 7 am eastern time so when we got back to the hotel I called my mom again. "Hey mija!"
"Hi momma. How are you? Did the storm come yet?"
She laughed, "Honey will you stop worrying about that storm. And yes the rain and the wind have picked up a little but it's not bad. Rey, you'll be home in 2 days so don't spend that time worrying."
"Ok mom. I can't wait to see you; I miss you."
"I miss you too my little queen. I love you."
"I love you too." After we hung up I made it my resolve not to let the worry get to me. Even though I would want to call her 10 times tomorrow I would resist the urge.
