Silence Amongst the Screams

Sirens wailed in the distance. In the ambulance I held her hand and cried the whole way to the hospital. Her name is Natasha, I also found out that she had been stabbed several times but she was gonna make it. BUT she had to stay at the hospital a couple more days, I was determined so I'd wait. The nurse told me her room number and I was off. I cautiously approached her bed. Her eyes quickly glanced at me then beckoned me, "Come. Sit." I did.
"I'm-" I started but I was cut off.
"Dawn. I know."
"How?"
