Chapter 24
The phone slipped from my hand and collided with the floor. Ethan and Natasha guided me toward the couch to sit down, they were talking but I couldn't hear them because his voice was booming in my ears, "I'm coming for you." it repeated over and over. It suddenly clicked I knew who it was.
"It was him." I said monotone starring straight forward.
"Who, hun?" Natasha asked me quietly.
"M-My d-dad." I stuttered out. I burst into tears. All of the sudden a thought hit me, crying isn't gonna do me again. I immediately stopped crying. Natasha looked confused but hugged me anyway and Ethan had a distant look in his eyes. What are we gonna do?
