Desperado was not a hero. He wasn't a perfect little crime-stopper or could fly like Superman, nor was he coldly intelligent like Batman. He was a chain smoker, confused with an inner debate between his instinct of revenge and his morals. His only thread of full sanity is within a hero who may need some saving of his own.
