Another Day.

I nodded slightly as she noticed the horrible raised skin of my arm, rubbing it a little.
"It's not your fault though.. You were only trying to help me out."
He smiled a little, as much as he could..
It was hard,
Knowing that she knew..

I also, worryingly, knew that I'd have to return home.
I couldn't let Amanda in. She would then know what sort of a place of a place I live in and maybe then not like me so much.
But I smiled, grabbed my t-shirt and slipped it on, then gestured for her to follow.

We started walking down the road that her apartment was on, turning right and heading up a small hill, past the nursery and continuing up by the small park next to it.
We then turned right again and down a few roads,
before dissapearing through the tunnel into the dodgy side of town.

I smiled over at Amanda,
"I'm sorry you have to see this.. Please, don't judge."
He pushed open the unlocked door, grimacing as he saw his father still out of it on the sofa.
"Holy shit.. I'm so sorry."
I then walked upstairs and into my tiny bedroom, only to fit a chest of drawers and a single bed with one shelf overhead, and picked out a few garments for my uniform.
