A Twist in my Story

I've never seen the beach.
I've never attended school past the second grade.
I've never had friends.
I've never lived in a city.
I barely knew my mother when she died.
I've barely seen outside.
I've never stepped outside since Ma had died.
I've never slept in a proper bed.
I've never been in contact with another life-form other than my Dad since Ma died.
And, I've never shared my story until now.
