Expecting
Reunion
The next day i got up and got ready for work and made food. After we were all set me and Isabella left to go to school, luckily the roads were all clear so it was easier to drive. The day went by pretty fast and at 3 i went to the preschool room and got Isaballa and went home. When we got home we heard a bunch of talking in the hall, we walked over and saw Jeff and Natalie looking up into the open attic and talking.
"Whats going on?" i asked
"Hey!, uhhm Pierre and David are in the attic getting your maternity clothes since your shirts are getting to tight" Jeff said
"Oh cool" i said standing under the open attic door in the ceiling trying to see what they were doing
"Look out bellow!" David said and the next thing i knew i was grabbed around the waist and pulled back as a big blue container fell and slammed on the floor
"Woah, that was close. Are you okay?" Jeff said letting me go
"Mhmm fine" i said
"Way to go David you almost crushed Delilah!" Natalie said
"Oopsies" David said coming down the ladder
"Yeah oopsies" i mocked him
"Lets see what we got here" David said opening the bin
"Weirdo" i mumbled
"Hey baby, by the way theres a letter from your old highschool on the dinning room table" Pierre said coming down and closing the door
"Oh okay cool" i said
"Mhmmm, come on David" Pierre and he closed the bin and pushed it to our room
Later that night Pierre and Jeff cooked dinner, apparently Pierre saw somthing on the food network and wanted to try and make it. The rest of us sat at the table and talked. I decided to open the letter from my old school, i was really curious to see what it said. I opened it and it was a invite to my highschool reunion.
"Oh cool, its a invite to my highschool reunion" i said
"Really?, when is it?" Pierre asked
"Saturday" i said
"Sweet, wanna go?" he asked
"Totally, theres this girl named Devin who used to pick on me all the time. I cant wait to see her face when i walk in with a gorgeous rockstar husband" i said
"Yeah" he said
"Your totally gonna rub your great life in her face huh?" David said
"Hell yeah!" i laughed
---Fast forward to Saturday---
I woke up anxious as hell, i was excited but nervous. That night we left Isabella with Natalie and drove to the reunion with my bestfriend Lola and her fiance Mike. Me and Lola have been best friends since 8th grade, shes my oldest friend. We got to the reunion and walke inside and went to get our name tags.
"Names with madien names?" the girl at the table asked
"Lola Connor and Delilah Mitchell" i said
"Alright. Here you go, have fun" she said and we took our name tage and stuck them on us
We walked out to the room where the reunion was, we started to look for our old friends right away. It didnt take long to find everyone, once we found one person they knew where someone else was and then that person would know where someone else was. We all sat down at a table together to talk and a little while later i went to get somthing to drink. Once i grabbed my drink i turned to go back to the table and was stopped.
"Delilah?" someone asked, i looked behind me and it was my old boyfriend Sam
"Sam?, hey!" i said
"Hey how are you?" he asked hugging me
"Good, how are you?" i asked him
"Im good. So hows life?" he asked
"Its great" i said
"Thats good, so are you dating anyone now?" he asked, he had a crush on me after i broke up with him i guess its still there
"Uhmm, im actually married with a daughter and a baby on the way" i said and he looked shocked
"Oh really?, im sorry i had no clue. Congradulations though" he said
"Its okay. And thanks" i said
"Mhmm, well i'll let you go" he said
"Bye Sam" i said and went back to the table
I was walking over to the table and saw someone flirting with Pierre, i was super annoyed. As i got closer i saw it was Devin. She looked really fake alot more fake that she used to look, she was grossly tanned to. I got to the table and sat in my seat next to Pierre, Devin looked pissed but i didnt care.
"What are you doing over here Delilah?" she asked
"Uhm this is my table and my friends. And this guy your flirting with is my husband" i said and she looked shocked
"Really?, what hot rockstar would wanna marry you?" she said
"Me" Pierre said
"Just go away Devin nobody wants you here" Lola said
"Yeah just go back to your date" i said
"I dont have one" she said
"No surprise there" i said and she looked annoyed and walked away
"Man you two are cruel, i like it!" Pierre said and i laughed
"Whats going on?" i asked
