Sick

This morning i woke up pretty excited, i signed up for birthing classes for second time parents a few days ago and today was the day. I took a fast shower and then went out to the livingroom. Both Isabella and Natalie were lying on the pull out couch, Isabella was asleep. I waved at Natalie and walked to the kitchen and Pierre was leaning against the counter staring at the fridge with a cup to his mouth. I walked over and stood next to him to see what he was looking at, i had no idea.
"What are you looking at?" i asked
"Huh?. Oh hey, nothing just trying to figure some band stuff out" he said
"Silly" i said and went to pour myself some cereal
"Hey guys" Natalie said walking in
"Hey" we said
"So you need me on babysitting duty today?" she asked
"Yep, sorry" i said
"No its cool its only for a little while, plus im living off you guys basically so its the least i could do" she said
"Mhmm" Pierre said
"Mommy" Isabella said walking in the room
"Hey baby, did you sleep good?" i asked
"I no feel good" she said rubbing her eyes
"Oh boy, whats wrong baby girl?" Pierre said picking her up
"My head hurt, my tummy hurt and my nose to" she said burrying her face in his sholder
"Oh wow, yeah your deffinetly sick. Your warm. My poor baby" i said feeling her forehead
"I think she needs to see the doctor" Pierre said
"Yep" i said
"Here baby, go to mommy. Im gonna go call the doctor" he said passing me Isabella and walking away
I asked Natalie to get me the thermometer and a wet cloth and meet me upstairs. I went and put Isabella in her bed and she fell asleep fast, she looked like hell. Natalie came up and handed me the stuff. I stuck the thermometer in her ear and it beeped, 100.5. I put the cloth on her forehead and went back downstairs. When we got back downstairs Pierre had just gotten off the phone.
"Hey, did you call and make a appointment?" i asked
"Yep, how is she?" he asked
"Alright, fever is 100.5. Shes asleep again" i said
"Good" he said
"Mhmmm, whens the appointment?" i asked
"Well. 3:00, i tryed making it later or earlier but they didnt have a opening until like 9 and i was thinking thats to late" he said, my class was at 3
"Damn...okay well i mean she has to go, so you take her and i'll take someone with me to my appointment" i said
"Who though?, Sebastien?" he asked
"No!, thats to awkward. Natalie wanna go?" i asked
"Sure!" she said
Later that day we went to the class, this was gonna be interesting. We walked in and everyone was there with their husbands. I was the only one with a girl with me. I signed us in and we took a seat on the floor on a mat, i looked around and saw baby dolls and strollers and carseats. A few minutes later the teacher walked out to start the class.
"Hello class im Cassidy, i'll be your teacher today and for the remaining classes. Lets go around and introduce ourselves and say how far along we are okay?. We'll start here" she said pointing at the couple next to me and Natalie
"Hi im Stacy and this is my husband Nick, im about five months pregnant" Stacy said
"Okay, you two?" Cassidy said pointing to me and Natalie
"Hi im Delilah and this is my cousin Natalie, im about three months pregnant" i said
"Weres daddy?" Cassidy asked
"At the doctors with our three year old, shes sick" i said
"Awww, well i hope she feels better and i hope to meet your husband next time" she said
"Yeah" i said
"Okay next?" she said
After the introductions we started the class, it was fun. The first thing we did was learn how to change a baby while the other child distracted you, it was kinda hard and i was surprised. Then we re-learned some breathing techniques which was pretty funny. Then the last thing we did was learn how to cope with being pregnant and taking care of another child. Natalie decided to ask a important question.
"Uhmm so how do you deal with a sick child while pregnant?" she asked
"Very good question!, your gonna need as much sleep as you can get. Everyone knows sick children that are young are gonna be up in the middle of the night. I'd suggest having the husband take care of everything at night and you do what you can during the day" Cassidy said
"Alright, here that sunshine?" Natalie said
"Yep" i said and my phone beeped, i pulled it out and it was a text from Pierre it said: Shes got the flu :(. I texted back: My poor baby, tell her that i'll be home soon
"Does anyone have any questions?" Cassidy said
"I do" one of the women named Kim said
"Yes?" Cassidy said
"Whats a good relaxation tip?" she said
"Another good question!, mainly i wanna say escape from whatevers making you stress and take a breather" Cassidy said
"Okay" Kim said
We finished up in the class and went straight home, i tryed calling Pierre to see if he wanted to me get anything on my way home. There was no answer. I assumed he was to busy with Isabella. I got home and walked in and Pierre and Isabella were nowhere to be found. I went down the hall to our room, Isabella and Pierre were sleeping on the bed. I walked over and shook Pierre.
"Babe?" i said
"Hmmmm?" he said
"Im home" i said
"Good" he said
"Are you sure you wanna lay next to her?, the flu is contagious Pierre" i said
"I know but im like immune to everything" he said
"Mhmm" i said and walked out
