The Day He Found the Gun

"I moved to Parkland three weeks ago. My mom had died in a car accident and my dad wanted to start over. That very first night I looked out my window and saw her. The girl sitting on the roof and staring at the sky."

Todd is new in the neighborhood but he fit in quite easily. He made friends with some guys at school, gets good grades, and is left alone by fellow students. Instead of being the typical guy and drooling over the sluts and whores in school, he’s fascinated with Taylor Leighton, the “outcast” of the school and his new neighbor. He falls in love with everything about her even though everyone else thinks her a freak. He decides to make it his goal to win her heart and learn the reason for the pain behind her eyes but he soon finds that there is much more to her than everyone thinks.
