Battle of the Bands

forty-nine

-Julie's Point Of View-

"Tom!" I shouted just before I threw my arms around the guitarist's neck.

"You were great!" we both said at the same time.

We both started to say something else but then stopped to let the other say something.

Insert awkward silence here.

Bill ran up to us and threw his arms around my neck, "You sang better than Kerli ever could!" he shouted.

I giggled at Bill's hyperness just as a security guard entered the green room and told the bands they had about a half hour until the buses would be ready.

He spotted Ryder, Melissa, and I and the next thing I knew we were being ushered in the direction of the exit.

But- but- but-

We didn't get to say goodbye.
