Battle of the Bands

-Julie's Point Of View-

The next thing I knew, the security guy bounced us out the stage door and the first thing I noticed was. . .

A riot.

. . .Just like I had predicted.

Melissa and I both pressed up against the stadium's wall, not wanting to get caught up in the middle of the riot.

But with one look at Ryder, I knew he was planning something.

"Ry?! What are you thinking?! Whatever it is, it's a bad idea!" I said, getting louder with each word - but not loud enough for us to be noticed by the rioters.

Ryder looked at me, "I'm going to go get the Jeep and then come back to pick you two up!"

I shook my head, "No, you'll never make it! The rioters will pick you up and carry you away long before you get to the car!"

Ryder smirked before he ruffled my hair, "Don't worry, I'll be fine. . .and I'll be back." he said just before he ran off and disappeared into the crowd of rioters.

"We are never going to see him again." I mumbled.
