Battle of the Bands

seventy-three

-Julie's Point Of View-

After everyone finished dinner we all jetted off to the Venetian to catch the late night Blue Man Group show.

Other than the thirty-seven tickets we bought for the bands, Melissa and I, twenty more tickets were also bought for the security guys who positioned themselves in the row in front of us and the row behind us. This was done so crazed fans couldn't get near the bands and jealous girls couldn't attack us.

Soon the Blue Man Group show started and I have just one thing to say about it...

It's epic and you have to go see it!

My favorite parts were the Captain Crunch skit and the Twinkies cake skit, and of course the paper finale.

We walked out of the show room and into the Blue Man gift shop and I couldn't help but ooh and ahh at all the merchandise.

"Oh look, there's the painting the Blue Men made during the show right there!" I said excitedly as I pointed to a spun painting displayed above the cash register.

"So?" Pete said as he appeared next to me, "It's just a basic colors painting spun at an incredibly fast rate to get that spiny design. I mean, I could make one if I wanted to."

I shrugged my shoulders, "Yeah, but an original painting would have a story behind it or several stories if you include other things that happened to you while in Vegas. Because how many people can say they own a painting painted by the Blue Men in Las Vegas? It'd just be cool is all I'm saying." I said before I turned and walked away to look at something else in the store.

What I didn't see though was Pete step up to the cash register and point at the painting before taking out his wallet to pay for it.

After we finished roaming around the Venetian casino and checked out a few gift shops we all squeezed onto the Monster party bus and drove back to the Luxor.

Once we were back in the pyramid and we had all gone to different floors where all our rooms were located Shin and Kiro quickly learned they could see everybody on the different floors and began to yell and scream at other band mates.

I smiled at the goofy antics the guys did when they thought no one was watching. It was a riot!

I glanced down the hallway and noticed Bill and Tom were standing only a few doors down. I smiled at the twins and called out, "Goodnight guys! I'm going to bed."

Bill turned to me and smiled, "Goodnight Julie." he replied.

"What'd she say?!" Zacky called from a higher floor.

"She said she's going to bed!" Tom yelled back.

"Oh. Goodnight Julie!" Zacky screamed.

I couldn't help but giggle as I used the key card and unlocked the door. When I entered I walked straight over to the suitcase to see if there were any pajamas inside. But there weren't. So instead I picked out a black Misfits tee and a pair of turquoise blue booty shorts and changed my clothes.

After I finished changing I went to the bathroom and removed my make-up. When I completed that I walked back over to the bed and collapsed on it. It was REALLY comfy. Within a matter of minutes, I was fast asleep.

-Melissa's Point Of View-

I walked into the Luxor between Matt and Jimmy, but as we walked over to the elevator Frank came up behind me and grabbed me by the elbow.

"Hey Frankie." I said as I smiled.

"Can we talk?" Frank questioned.

"Uh-oh." Jimmy said as he and Matt got onto the elevator. Gerard, Mikey, Bob, Ray, Caleb, Austin, Kyle, and Jonathan all piled in after them so I couldn't hear if Matt replied to Jimmy or if Jimmy said anything else.

"You guys coming?" Austin questioned.

"No, we'll be up soon." Frank replied, causing a round of wolf whistles as the elevator doors slid closed.

I turned to Frank, "So what did you want to talk about?"

"Us." Frank replied.

"What about us?" I questioned.

"I think we should break up." Frank said quickly as we walked around on the casino floor.

"What? Why?"

"Ever since you realized Avenged Sevenfold was going to be on this tour you've been making googally eyes at Matt."

I started to say something, but Frank cut me off, "Before you yell, I just wanted to tell you I'm not mad... I think I might like Julie anyways."

My jaw dropped, but I wasn't mad. "You have a lot of competition to win her heart." I said instead.

Frank nodded, "I know...but at least I don't have to worry about Mikey and Bob any more."

"Why would you have to worry about them?" I questioned.

"Because they like you."

"What?!"

Frank smiled, "You haven't noticed? Every guy who isn't staring at Julie is staring at you."

"Wow really?" I asked.

Frank nodded, "So are we still friends?" he questioned.

I nodded as well, "Still friends." I agreed.

Frank smiled, "Great. C'mon, I'll walk you to your room."
