Kiyo Nakamoto

(Jiro walks through the trail of a small town. Many people are walking around and selling things from their stands. The town is filled with happiness and polite people. Jiro walks around with a smile on his face and enjoys the beautiful sunlight. He takes a deep breath to enjoy the fresh air. Just as he exhales, a very frightened man is seen running toward Jiro. Jiro looks and sees four guards chasing him. As the man is about to pass Jiro, Jiro quickly draws his sword and stabs his sword into the edge of the side of the man’s shoe. Jiro raises his sword up and makes the man fall face-first into the ground. Jiro has the man’s leg held up in the air by having his sword stab through his shoe.)

Man: Hey, man, let me go! What are you doing?!

(The four guards stop in front of Jiro.)

Guard1: Yeah, we got you now, you no good criminal!

Guard2: You should be glad I wasn’t the one who caught you. Just wait till I get my hands on you!

Criminal: Please, I did nothing wrong. Just let me go and I promise never to show my face around here again.

Guard2: Shut it!

Guard3: Your so called “buddies” ratted you out to cover their own butts. They told us you had information on the location of the underground fighting arena.

Criminal: (Lying) I-I-I have no idea what you’re talking about. Now please, can I go?

Guard4: Hey, kid, you some kind of bounty hunter? Catching criminals isn’t some game you play with your little friends. It’s a serious responsible that could cost you your life.

Jiro: Afraid I’m not a bounty hunter, sir. But maybe I can look into becoming one.

Guard1: Please hand him over to us, so that we may arrest him.

Jiro: I’m guessing… no.

Guard2: Did that punk just say no?! I should ring his neck right now!

Jiro: It took me only a few seconds to catch this guy. I’m guessing you guards are in need of someone with my caliber of speed. Agree to let me join you in your attempt to obtain those involved in the underground fighting, and I shall exchange this delinquent of society in return.

Guard1: (Sighs) Fine, deal.

Jiro: Great. (To criminal) Now tell us where the underground fighting is being held. If you refuse to tell us what we wish to know, I will end your life. Be warned, it will not be quick and painless.

Criminal: If you end my life, you’ll never know where it’s being held.

Jiro: To be honest, it doesn’t really make a difference to me whether or not you give up the information. I’m just trying to help these guys out. If you refuse to talk to me; you’re also refusing to talk to them, therefore, you’re useless to us all. You being useless means you die. Now do I have to explain anymore to you?

Criminal: (Nervous) No, I’ll tell you what you wish to know! Just please don’t hurt me!

(Underground Arena)

(The audience goes crazy yelling and cheering; waiting for the fight to engage between Kiyo and Tyreese. Nini runs up to Kiyomi and climbs on her shoulders. Aiko, Joseph, and Sabrina walk up to Kiyomi seconds later.)

Kiyomi: Hey, Aiko! I’m so glad you’re alright! Who are these two?

Sabrina: I’m Sabrina and this is Joseph.

Aiko: They’re our new companions. They’ll be traveling with us for awhile. I’m not too psyched about it.

Eli: Too many people are joining our crew at once. I thought it was only suppose to be three of us.

Joseph: Sabrina and I are only companions; we’re not joining your crew.

Eli: Alright then… GO, KIYO!

Announcer: Alright people! Let’s get this fight started!

(The crowd gets louder and louder.)

Kiyo: That crowd must get annoying after awhile.

Tyreese: Nah, you get use to it.

Kiyo: I suppose. So should you make the first move, or should I?

Tyreese: That blast I shot you with was my first move, so it’s your turn.

(Kiyo spreads out his arms and two fireballs slowly come out of his palms. The fireballs slowly float a few feet then stop. Kiyo quickly punches three fireballs at Tyreese from his fists. Tyreese jumps to the right side to dodge each of them. The three fire balls hit the metal cage and the cage begins to turn red with heat. Kiyo opens his palm and shoots a flame thrower at Tyreese. Tyreese runs up the cage to avoid the flames as they follow him. The cage is about 60 feet tall. Tyreese gets to the top of the cage and stands upside down. He looks down at Kiyo. Kiyo puts his hands together and throws an even bigger flamethrower at Tyreese.)

Aiko: Between the fight with Nissa and the crystals draining Kiyo’s strength, he shouldn’t have the energy to release that much fire! (Thinking) Oh, I hope he’s alright.

Kiyomi: Kiyo and I are twins. We may not look like it, but we are. Us being twins means our energies get stronger when we’re close. Kiyo’s energy has boosted, but he’s going to pass out within a few minutes if he keeps this up.

(Tyreese disappears at the last second to dodge the fire. Kiyo continues to burn the top of the cage. Tyreese appears on the ground and charges at Kiyo. Kiyo keeps his arms up and continues to burn the cage. Tyreese punches at Kiyo’s face. Kiyo lifts his knee to block it. Tyreese disappears again. Kiyo quickly puts him leg down, turns around, and lifts his other knee up. An impact can be heard. A few seconds later, Tyreese appears and has his fist on Kiyo’s knee. Kiyo kicks his foot at Tyreese to fire shoots out at him. Tyreese disappears and dodges it. Kiyo puts his foot down. Tyreese is nowhere to be found. The crowd continued to cheer. In the crowd, a woman can be seen standing silently with her arms crossed. She has long black hair and all black clothing. She has dark purple eyes.)

Kiyomi: Kiyo! Stop burning up all your energy! You can’t keep this up!

(Tyreese appears and stands a few feet away from Kiyo. Kiyo uses one of the two floating fireballs to shoot a mirage of tiny fireballs at him. Tyreese creates a black ball of spinning energy. The tiny fireballs get sucked into the vortex. Kiyo stops shooting the fire balls after about 5 seconds.)

Kiyo: (Surprised) What?!

(The vortex disappears from Tyreese’s hands.)

Announcer: Boy is our challenger gonna be in for a big surprise!

(The vortex appears aside Kiyo and the mirage of flames shoot out at Kiyo. Kiyo is hit by every flame and is slammed into the cage. When the flames stop, Tyreese dashes at Kiyo and slams into him with his body with his shoulder. Kiyo is hurt and weak. Tyreese grabs Kiyo’s head and slams it into his knee. He grabs Kiyo by the neck and throws him to the middle of the arena. Kiyo falls on his back. He slowly tries to get up, but is instantly kicked in the face by Tyreese.)

Tyreese: I see you’re in a lot of pain. My mother beat you 10 times worse than this. Have you become soft over this time away from your training?

(The woman in all black is seen cracking a smile.)

Rayna: (Thinking) It doesn’t take a genius to know the outcome of this battle. The victory of this fight belongs to Kiyo.

(Kiyo remains hurt on the ground.)

Tyreese: My mother Rayna should have trained me instead. I would have made a much better student. You are weak and your power is nothing in comparison to mine! You weren’t a worthy opponent at all, Kiyo. You disappoint me.

Kiyo: No, Tye… You disappoint me.

(Kiyo balls his fists. The fire that Kiyo threw on top of the cage spreads through the entire cage. The entire cage is then engulfed in flames. Kiyo punches a flamethrower at Tyreese and makes him fly a few feet back. Kiyo desperately stand up. He’s still very weak and exhausted. In the crowd, the four guards show up, and so does Jiro. The criminal is there as well. The six of them look amazed as they stare at the sight of a giant cage of fire. No one can see inside the cage.)

Jiro: I’d recognize that power anywhere. Kiyo must be in there.

Guard1: You know who’s in there fighting?

Jiro: I do.

Guard1: Good. This means it’ll be easier to catch the guys involved in the fight.

Guard3: Then we can take the winner’s prize money!

(Princess Sasha walks up behind Jiro.)

Sasha: Jiro, the time has come for us to continue in our quest to find a new home.

Jiro: You go ahead, Sasha. My destiny is to join Kiyo in his quest. (Smiles at Sasha) I will see you in the future, Princess.

Sasha: Farewell, my friend (Bows). We shall meet again, in the distant future.

Tyreese: (Stand up) This is pretty amazing. I see you still have your strategies, Kiyo. Your fighting techniques were always unexpected.

Kiyo: I will show you what it means to have power, Tyreese… This will be the end of this fight.

Tyreese: We’ll see.

(The second floating fireball surrounds Kiyo’s body like an invisible shield. The energy inside the fire can be seen lightly glowing around him. Kiyo puts his hands together and the flames explode. The explosion in only inside the cage. No fire escapes. The power of the explosion can be sensed by everyone. The cage is filled with smoke. Kiyo and Tyreese explode with adrenaline and determination to win. Through the smoke, Kiyo and Tyreese are throwing various powerful punches at each other. They punch each other’s fists and faces multiple times in blind fury. Their punches continue for 30 seconds. Tyreese goes to punch Kiyo in the face, Kiyo ducks to dodge. Kiyo rapidly punches Tyreese in the gut 13 times with his right fist. He jumps in the air and gives him a left hook to the face. Tyreese is slammed to the ground. Kiyo is still in midair. Kiyo makes a fireball in his hand and tries to crush Tyreese in the chest with it. Tyreese rolls and dodges it. The fireball hits the ground and fire spreads out everywhere. Kiyo is standing on one hand. Tyreese knees Kiyo in the chest. Kiyo stumbles back a few feet but tries to balance using his hands. Tyreese rushes at Kiyo again. Kiyo tries to kick him. Tyreese grabs Kiyo’s leg, lifts Kiyo over him, and then slams him into the ground. Kiyo does a twist and kicks Tyreese in the face with his other foot. Tyreese stumbles a few feet, but still holds on to Kiyo’s ankle. He lifts Kiyo to slam him again. While in the air, Kiyo throws a fireball in Tyreese’s face. Tyreese releases Kiyo’s ankle. Kiyo does a twist flip in midair and kicks Tyreese in the chest with both feet. Tyreese flies to the other side of the cage and hits his back. Kiyo comes out of the pitch black smoke and slams his foot into Tyreese’s face. Kiyo pins his face into the hot metal of the cage burning the flesh on his face.)

Kiyo: Sorry to do this to you, brother, but I can’t afford to hold back.

Tyreese: (Grins) As expected. I’d be insulted if you did.

(Tyreese creates a swirling dark vortex in the ground under Kiyo. Kiyo falls through. The vortex disappears. Tyreese stands up and extends his right arm out. The vortex appears in midair and shoots out Kiyo. Kiyo shoots out and slams his neck into Tyreese’s arm. Kiyo falls to the ground. Tyreese turns around and quickly punches Kiyo in the chest. He grabs Kiyo’s neck and slams him against the cage. Kiyo kicks Tyreese in the stomach. Tyreese releases Kiyo. Kiyo elbows him in the face with his left, punches him in the gut with his right, elbows him in the face again with his right when he bends down, and then blasts him in the face with a small blast of exploding fire. The smoke is mostly cleared.)

Kiyomi: Do you feel that energy coming from those two? That’s their inner darkness rising to the surface. Kiyo seems to have his under control though.

Aiko: I’m sure Kiyo can beat this guy, whoever he is.

Rayna: They both have improved so much. I’m impressed. But these too seem to have a personal grudge with each other. This is my doing.

(Tyreese and Kiyo are both totally exhausted. They have no power or energy left. They both have a hard time standing. They’re breathing heavy.)

Kiyo: I didn’t think the fight would last this long to be honest. You’ve gotten better…

Tyreese: Thanks… so have you… I’ve been training as hard as I possibly could. All my training has been for this day; for this fight. No matter what I do… No matter how much I try to let it go… I just can’t… No matter how hard I tried, I never got my mother’s approval. She was never proud of me… She never paid attention to me. She never acknowledged my hard work… Even though my efforts were for her…

(The crowd is cheering loudly. Kiyo and Tyreese mentally connect with one another. The room is silent. The air is filled with quiet tension of pain and sorrow.)

Tyreese: I love my mother so much… Even after everything she’s done to me… All my pain; all my hatred; and my tears… Have all been sealed away into the darkest part of my heart. The darkness inside of me comes from all the pain I’ve felt my entire life… It all builds up and taunts me. It begs me to let it free!! It reminds me of the loneliness and the torment I had to go through. It reminds me every day!

(Tyreese holds on to the burning hot cage and slowly limps over to Kiyo as he talks.)

Tyreese: And the more pain I feel… the stronger this darkness inside me becomes. It wants to consume my body and take complete control… Please don’t… Please don’t let me die like this mom… All I wanted from her was love. Was that too much for a 7 year old to ask for? (Tyreese falls to the ground.) I won’t give up… I won’t give up on getting her approval. I will not give up on getting her to love me… just as much as I love her… (Struggles to get up and continue limping.) My mother is watching this fight… I know she’s here… I can feel her presents… I haven’t seen her in so long… But I know she’s here; watching me… Watching us… And no matter what it takes, I will not give up. I will show her I’m strong. I will show her, that even when I was alone, I could become stronger than the one she trained: “The orphan little boy who lost his parents and was almost killed.”

(Kiyo stands and looks down at the ground. A tear falls from his eyes and drips into the ground. The tear splashes and a teenage Tyreese is all alone in a forest splashing rocks into the rain puddle before him. Rayna walks in front of him. She doesn’t look very happy. Tyreese looks into his mother’s eyes. His mother angrily kicks him in the chest and makes him fly into a tree. He falls to the ground. The sky is bright with the shining sun. Puddles are everywhere from the storm of yesterday.)

Rayna: Did you think you could just run away and think I’d never find you?! How dare you run from me! You’re coming back home!

(Rayna angrily runs up to Tyreese and grabs his collar. She holds him up against the tree with one arm. Thunder begins to roar.)

Tyreese: (Angry) Who are you to decide whether I leave or not! You don’t care about me! You do not love me!

Rayna: I am your mother!

Tyreese: You are a sorry excuse for a human being, that’s what you are!! I hate you and I hate everything about you! You are a disgrace. Looking at your face only makes me hate you even more! You disgust me! (Spits in Rayna’s face) I wish you would die! I would do it myself, but you’re not worth killing! I want to have nothing to do with you ever again! I even hate the fact that you are my mother and YOU were the one who gave birth to me. I hate myself for ever loving you! And I’m glad whoever my father is raped you and left you to die, because you deserve that and much more!

(Tyreese punches Rayna in the face. She stumbles back and releases him.)

Rayna: … Is that… How you feel… Son?

Tyreese: I am not your son! I am no one you should worry about anymore! Forget you ever knew my name. Forget you ever knew my face! Forget you ever gave birth to a son! Forget I exist. Leave me alone. Never think about me again! (Runs away)

(Present day)

Tyreese: (Grabs Kiyo’s collar) That day, a very small fraction of my darkness was released upon my mother. I love my mother with all my heart… But I’m afraid of what the darkness within my heart will do to my mother, once it’s released again… The love I have is so strong… It’s the only thing that keeps the darkness held inside me…

(Tyreese is in too much pain to move on. He passes out. Kiyo catches him in his arms. The room is white. Tyreese lies on the ground before his mother. He looks up at her then looks away as tears fall from his eyes.)

Tyreese: No… Don’t look at me…

Rayna: Get up. You look pathetic crying on the floor like that.

Tyreese: You were always so tough, mom.

Rayna: (Kneels down to Tyreese) I was only tough because I love you.

Tyreese: I know you loved me… But it’s just so hard to… Believe it. This darkness inside me is so powerful. I can’t even think straight anymore because of it. Please help me, mom.

Rayna: Son, that darkness in your heart was put there for a reason. I treated you the way I did because I needed that darkness to grow inside your heart.

(Tyreese looks up at Rayna.)

Rayna: You don’t understand, son. You don’t understand what I had to go through my entire life. You have no idea how much my heart ached for you every day because I couldn’t show you I cared or loved you. You need to understand that I have mastered dark and light; good and evil. I can see the light in you, Tye. You have a pure heart that can never be tainted by darkness.

(Rayna and Tyreese both stand up. Rayna puts her hand on his shoulder.)

Rayna: The more hatred grows in your heart, the stronger your evil becomes. And the light within you will always be stronger than the darkness. You will always have power over it and learn to use its power without corrupting your soul. You see, son, I was training you the entire time. I was teaching you to be your own man, to work hard, to conquer any darkness, to become as strong as you can be, to be independent, to be ambitious. I’ve taught you many things, Tyreese. You just haven’t noticed because you’re such a knucklehead.

Tyreese: (Chuckles) I am a knucklehead. (Serious) Thank you, Mother. But, I need to know why you chose to train me the way you did.

Rayna: It’s the same reason why I kept so many secrets from Kiyo. I knew Kiyo’s parents were alive all along. I knew the parents that were killed were just replacements. There’s so much I’ve kept from him. Listen, Knucklehead, I treated you the way I did for a reason. I trained Kiyo for a reason. I can’t tell you what that reason is, but just remember that it is very important.

Tyreese: Sure, I’ll remember. Thanks mom.

Rayna: No problem, son. Now show Kiyo what you’re made of. Make mommy proud.

Tyreese: Don’t worry, mom, I will.

(Tyreese wakes up and jumps away from Kiyo. The two of them seem to have a lot more energy. They are not as weak as they were a few seconds ago.)

Tyreese: I know the truth now. And I know what I must do.

Kiyo: And that it what?

Tyreese: I must defeat you here and now. I must make my mom proud. (Grins)

Kiyo: You want to show your mom how powerful you’ve become? Then I won’t hold back or take pity on you.

Tyreese: I would be offended if you did.

Kiyo: (Smiles) Of course.

Aiko: How is it possible that neither of them are hurt? The two of them were just about to naptime.

Sabrina: Naptime?

Kiyomi: Aiko suffered a head injury as a child. She has mental brain damage.

Joseph: I have the ability to understand how things work. Perhaps I can help. If I understand how your brain works, maybe I can fix it.

Aiko: That would be nice! But scary too…

Joseph: I may be one of the bad guys, but I have a kind heart.

Eli Before you fix her, could you help understand how those two are at full power?

Joseph: It’s unclear to me right now. But I can say that the two of them have somehow tapped into a different energy source. It’s not kotoda energy; it’s something else.

Sabrina: I suppose its spiritual energy. The two of them must be spirit users. I’m guessing they’re not at a very high level though, but I could be wrong.

Aiko: I just want Kiyo to make it out of this fight alive.

Eli: I know… He must really be something; having as much energy as he does.

(The room begins to grow dark. Two extremely bright blue energy balls light up the room. One ball comes from Kiyo, and the other from Tyreese. The two spheres glow with rapid spinning energy.)

Tyreese: Alright… (Takes a deep breath) Let’s do this.

(Tyreese has his sphere in his left hand; Kiyo has his in his right. The room goes silent, everything moves in slow motion. The crowd is at the edge waiting for the impact; feeling the intensity between the two challengers. The two move closer and closer to one another. Aiko is nervous. She covers her mouth with her hands. Kiyomi is silently watching the fight, but has doubts that the fight will have a satisfying end. Eli is excited and amazed to see how much power Kiyo yields in his very palm. Nini is frightened. Jiro and Sasha are awaiting the end of the fight. Rayna is proud to see her boys having a “friendly battle.” Two very powerful enemies stand a few feet behind Rayna. These two enemies are Phantom and Angel. Their motives for being here: Unknown.

Tyreese: (Angry) I will win this fight for my mother!

Kiyo: (Angry) If you truly want to make her proud then show her you can defeat an opponent greater than yourself!

(The two spheres clash. The room speeds up once more. The two energies are becoming unstable. Their energies grow stronger and stronger. The spheres in their hands grow bigger and bigger. They look each other in the eyes with intensity, love, passion, and hatred. The energy of the spheres begins to go wild and spread around the entire cage. The energy then begins to shred the metal bars. The energy between the two explodes. The cage is completely disintegrated. Only a few pieces remain. Tyreese and Kiyo’s clothing are ruined and damaged. They have drips of blood falling from their foreheads. The two of them lie in the dirt 10 feet away from each other. The two of them stand and walk slowly to each other. The two of them head-butt each other. Kiyo obviously wins. Tyreese jumps back and rubs his head in pain as a tear drop comes out of his eye.)

Tyreese: Owe, owe. What is your head made out of rocks? Owe!

Kiyo: (Chuckles) What can I say? I have a pretty strong head.

Tyreese: Whatever, I can take it! Let’s just continue this fight.

Kiyo: Before we do finish it, I need to know how you were unharmed by my fire attack earlier.

Tyreese: Which fire attack are you talking about?

Kiyo: When I set the bars on fire and created an explosion. How did you survive that?

Tyreese: All I did was use fire of my own as a shield.

Kiyo: (Surprised) What?! Since when can you use fire?

Tyreese: Its actually black fire. Black fire is one of the most powerful of flames. They are known as the Flames of Shadow, or Flames of Darkness.

Kiyo: (Grins) I see. That’s pretty sweet that you can use that technique.

Tyreese: I would teach you, but you might use it against me one day.

Kiyo: I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t. I’m trying to get rid of my darkness right now.

Tyreese: Interesting. I’m guessing you’re going to see the Prince of Darkness?

Kiyo: Yeah, that’s right.

Tyreese: I’ve met that guy before. I tried getting him to take my darkness away. He said he couldn’t accept my offer and that I was free to go.

Kiyo: No way. Did he really just let you go? He gave you a smack on the wrist and let you walk away Scott free?

Tyreese: No, I’m only joking (Chuckles). I was able to fight my way through the castle. I got to the exit and as I was outside leaving the cliff where the castle sits on, I was blocked by a force field. It’s a barrier that is invisible from the outside. No one can see or touch it, but once you enter inside of it, you can’t leave unless Prince lets you.

Kiyo: So how were you able to escape?

Tyreese: It’s quite simple actually. I used my special space-time ability to teleport myself out of there.

Kiyo: That must be that technique you used on me earlier to teleport my fire attacks and use them against me?

Tyreese: Yeah, that’s it. There is a huge weakness with that technique though. Creating that portal burns up a lot of energy. I can only use about 2 or 3 of them. Today I went over my limit. Honestly I don’t see how.

Kiyo: (Smiles) I think I have a lot to do with that.

Tyreese: (Smiles) Yeah, probably.

Kiyo: So what’s another weakness to your special space-time technique?

Tyreese: Well, It’s not meant for me to use.

Kiyo: What do you mean by that?

Tyreese: If I use that technique on myself, I could end up trapping myself in a paradox, or end up tearing myself apart by creating a black hole, sending myself into an unknown time. There’s so much that could happen.

Kiyo: So let me see if I got this right (Sits down and crosses legs). The portals you summon follow you pretty much. Whatever world you’re in, that’s the world the portal has to open up in.

Tyreese: Yeah, that’s right.

Kiyo: So then, when you enter your own portal, you are technically in another dimension pretty much, or another world. The portal has to follow you into the new world that you’ve just entered.

Tyreese: Yep. (Puts hands in pockets)

Kiyo: So because you jumped into the portal. You are in its world. That means the portal can’t open up again because you are already inside it.

Tyreese: (Smiles) You wouldn’t believe what I had to go through to get myself out, Kiyo. If I were to ever get trapped again, I don’t think there’s any possible way of me getting back out.

Kiyo: So it seems you have a major weakness: Your own power.

Tyreese: If it was ever used against me, I would pretty much be done.

Kiyo: (Smiles) I’ll remember that.

Tyreese: I doubt it. You always did forget the most simplest of things.

Kiyo: (Smiles) Yeah, you have a point there.

Phantom: I still don’t get why we have to stand here. We should just make our move and get this over with.

Angel: Patients, my friend. Patience is a precious trait to have. Do you know why we are here, or who our target or targets are, or if we even have a target?

Phantom: I just assumed it was everybody. Rayna is here, along with the princess and Kiyo’s crew. Jiro is here as well, don’t forget him.

Angel: Why are you here, Phantom?

Phantom: Osmo said he saw the future of this battle and I wanted to see how little Kiyo progressed since our last encounter.

Angel: He’s a spirit user. The precision, discipline, spiritual therapy, and manipulation that are required to wield such power in your very palm is truly remarkable. This Nakamoto kid should be killed. He could become a threat in the future.

Phantom: We all agreed to leave him and his team alone. We all have a reason to let them survive.

Angel: Of course. Our goal is to destroy only the most powerful of clans to ensure peace and tranquility within our world. They will be left alone, but if they pose a significant threat, they will become targets.

Phantom: Understood.

Rayna: (Thinking) I know those two are here behind me. I just wish I could hear what they were saying. Are they here for me? If they are, I should get out of here while I still have the chance. This underground area is too small for battle. And with all these people around, Phantom has a huge advantage.

(Tyreese and Kiyo both stand up.)

Tyreese: So what’s going to happen next? Should we continue the fight?

Kiyo: If you ask me, I say we should, but it wouldn’t be a wise choice. The two of us were already exhausted and drained of energy when we first walked into the arena. Well I fell in, but you get the point.

Tyreese: The crowd is cheering for us to continue this match. I’m sure you don’t want to disappoint them, do you?

Kiyo: Man, I’d love to finish this fight. And I would hate to disappoint the people. But we’ve already used up too much energy. Tyreese: When I passed out earlier, I talked to my mother in a dream. She told me that she loved me. You have no idea how big of a smile I got and how my heart tingled from hearing her tell me that she cared. (Puts hand on heart) I was able to use my love to connect with her love, then I used the energy of that love to mimic my mother’s spiritual energy.

Kiyomi: Is that really possible?

Sabrina: It shouldn’t be, but I suppose it is. I mean love it a type of spiritual connection. I suppose learning to manipulate that spiritual connection can give someone control of spiritual energy. But in order to do that, the type of love needed to do such a thing is impossible to describe.
