Kiyo Nakamoto

Previously… Kiyo has finally made it to Seigen town. The leader’s name is Magnes. Magnes is a very evil man , also very powerful. He rules the town and torments the people who live in it. Kiyo and Eli meet each other to defeat Mayor Magnes and his son, Butch. Kiyo and Eli meet a homeless woman named Surina. Surina has two children. The three of them have been hiding from Magnes, after he destroyed their home and threatened them. Kiyo and Eli were followed by Magnes’ men. These men told Magnes about Surina’s hiding place. Her and her children were then taken by them. Kiyo planned for this to happen, but it is unknown why. Now, Eli and Kiyo are ready to make their move and fight Magnes and Butch.

(A family is hugging each other in fear. Two young girls, a man, and a woman. They are all at the park. The park is like a giant beautiful forest. The trees are 50 feet tall and full of plants. Every inch of the forest is covered with grass. The trees block out the sunlight from above. The family is terrified, while food is neatly placed in front of them on a blanket.)

Man: Please, my family and I were just having a picnic. We do not want any trouble.

Butch: (Grins) That’s too bad. I see you have yummy delicious food, and I want it all.

Man: Okay. The food is yours. Now please let my family go. We want no trouble.

Butch: I really don’t like your attitude. Maybe I should tell my father, you’ve been giving me a hard time.

Man: (Scared) No, please don’t!

Butch: Shut up! (Kicks the man)

(Kiyo and Eli are a distance away to see Butch, but Butch does not see them.)

Eli: (Angry) Do you see this guy?! He’s just a kid and he hits adults. Butch needs to be put in his place!

Kiyo: Then do it, kid. Just take him out and be done with it.

Eli: I need a guarantee that you’ll be true to your word and defeat Mayor Magnes.

Kiyo: Of course I will, Eli. Then you can live in this village peacefully.

Eli: I’m not staying in this village. After Magnes and Butch are gone, I’m going to travel the world and be the greatest fighter. I’m also going to destroy Osmodeus, for what he did to grandma Ming.

Kiyo: If you want to be the greatest warrior, you’re going to have to face me. You do know this, don’t you?

Eli: I haven’t really thought of it, but yeah, someday I will have to face you.

Kiyo: Listen, Eli… Because the two of us share a similar goal, I will let you come with me okay. Even if you are as strong as me, the two of us need to stay together. Do you understand?

Eli: (Smiles) I got it. Because I’m a kid, you don’t think I’m able to look after myself. Well I have news for you, buddy… My power goes far beyond that of the average kid's. I won’t go down so easily. Not until I accomplish my dream. I will be the greatest warrior. I will prove that you don’t have to have cursed blood to be powerful. Osmodeus will learn that by my hand. Huh? Kiyo?

(Kiyo has disappeared and is standing on a tree branch. He’s looking down on Eli.)

Kiyo: (To self) Sorry, Eli, but we’ve had enough talking. Now is when you save that family and take down Butch… I hope you’re as strong as you say. You have masked men surrounding you in the trees. Hopefully you can take them all. Let’s see how far you’re willing to go for your dream.

(The man falls to the ground in pain.)

Butch: You’re weak. You can’t even stand up for yourself, in front of your own family. Weak people don’t deserve to live.

Eli: I was just thinking that same thing.

(Butch turns around and Eli punches him in the face instantly. Butch stumbles back a few feet.)

Butch: (Rubs cheek) So it’s you. (Grins) Elijah.

Eli: You’re the only one who’s weak, Butch. You hide behind your father and his firearms. You even have one of your own.

Butch: I sure do. And I’ve never actually used it on anyone before. You will be my first. Out of all the people I thought would stand up to me, I never thought it would be you.

Eli: You never know what surprises await you.

(Eli instantly transports himself in front of Butch and punches him in the chest. Butch falls to the ground.)

Butch: (Coughs) What… How could you move so fast?

Eli: I will make you suffer, Butch. I will not allow you to hurt anymore people. Today is the day you and your father leave.

Butch: (Laughs) Do you honestly think it’s gonna be that easy? That night you left Seigen town, you don’t think you were being watched? I told my father’s men to keep an eye on you and to make sure you didn’t tell anybody about this town. The outside world thinks that Seigen town is a place of peace, and me and my father want to make sure it stays like that.

Eli: So your masked spies have been watching me the whole time. I didn’t even notice.

(Needle come out of the trees and stab Eli in his back. 13 needles go in. Eli screams in pain and falls to his knees.)

Eli: What is this? (Breathing hard) What did you do to my body?

Butch: Poison needles.

Eli: (Thinking) I thought this was gonna be easy. I see now that it’s not. This is not good. Not at all.

[Clothing store]

(Magnes is in front of the clothing store. He ‘s talking to the manager.)

Magnes: I appreciate your honesty. Telling me the description of this Kiyo fellow, is very useful. Now please, get out of my face.

Manager: (Scared) Oh how foolish of me. Yes, right away, sir.

(The manager goes back inside his clothing store. Kiyo is standing behind Magnes. Magnes turns around and sees him.)

Magnes: (Smiles) I’m so glad I found you.

Kiyo: Where are you keeping Surina? I know you have her.

Magnes: And how would you know that?
Kiyo: It was apart of my plan. Or our plan, I should say. Just between me and her.

Magnes: Oh? And what might this plan be?

Kiyo: I used a new technique on her. I call it the Heat Sig. I’m able to put my mark on her skin by touching her. Once I do that the mark links our energies together. As long as she has that mark, she’s able to use my Kotoda. She is limited to the abilities she’s able to use however. She can only use simple fire attacks.

Magnes: So you’re hoping that she uses your power to take out my men?

Kiyo: That’s right. Hopefully she doesn’t use to much. Cause the more she uses it, the more energy is drained from my body. It’s too bad I won’t be able to fight you with my full power.

Magnes: Does this Heat Sig technique have a weakness? I’m sure it does.

Kiyo: The only weakness is that it takes more than half of my energy away just by giving someone the mark.

Magnes: To bad. Cause you’ll need it all if you want to have a chance of defeating me.

Kiyo: Trust me when I say I don’t.

[Park]

(Five masked men in black ninja costumes fall out of the trees and stand in front of Butch. Eli Has a hard time standing up.)

Butch: It’s over. Your body is poisoned, and there is nothing you can do to beat me! You don’t even have enough strength to fight.

Eli: This is not how it ends. I will beat you… I will win...

Butch: Your body’s shaking. You can hardly stand up.

(Eli does an extreme speed dash, heading strait for Butch. When he gets 3 feet away, two masked ninja punch Eli in the stomach. Eli falls to the ground and coughs up blood. He holds his stomach.)

Eli: No! (Punches the ground in anger) How could this happen? How could I let this happen to me.

Butch: Because You’re weak!

Eli: (Gets angry) ENOUGH!

(Eli jumps backward as fast as he can. He drags his feet across the ground to stop in front of a tree. He dashes up the tree and runs up it’s side as fast as he can. The force of his speed causes the branches on the tree to break and fly in the air. The bark from the tree begins to burn off. Within 7 seconds, Eli ran all the way up the 50 foot tree and is now over the park.)

Eli: (Thinking) I hate to use this technique with all of these people in the park… Most likely, they’ll get hurt. Hopefully it doesn’t come to that. (Out loud) Dodge this, Butch! Mercer Dive!!!

(Eli begins to fall feet first. He falls faster and faster.)

Eli: Please let this work… I’m trusting the power you gave me, grandma Ming.

(Eli punches the ground as soon as he makes impact. The force of the impact causes a shockwave that destroys and blows away everything within 60 feet of him. Eli is now standing in a 60 foot crater. 60 feet wide, 25 feet deep. All five ninjas jump in the exact same positions they were in before.)

Eli: What?! How are you still standing?

Ninja5: We ninja are extremely fast. Once you started moving up the tree, we were already moving everyone out of the park. Magnes assured us that he be the only one to take a life in this town.

Eli: (Thinking) I didn’t think that attack would be that powerful. If I wasn’t poised and weak, it would’ve done a lot more damage.

Ninja5: If you wish to get to Butch, you must first fight us. You must win against all of us.

Magnes: (Behind Eli) My park! What did you do, you little brat!

Kiyo: (Thinking) I can’t believe this kid… His power is unbelievable. And he’s only a kid. As he gets older, his strength will only grow stronger.

Magnes: I’m gonna kill you, you stupid kid! Ninja! Kill the kid! I don’t care what is takes, I want him dead!

Ninja 1-4: Hey, sir.

(All five ninja use their speed to instantly surround Eli.)

Eli: Before we begin this fight, I wanna know how the two of you got here so fast, Kiyo.

Kiyo: We were on the way here. All of a sudden a giant wave of rocks and trees flew at us. I used a fire shield to protect the two of us.

Eli: Why are you protecting him, Kiyo?

Kiyo: Cause I want to fight him at his full strength. Is that too much to ask for? Now hurry up and beat these stupid ninja guys so we can begin our fights. You haven’t forgotten about Butch have you?

Eli: Of course not… Just a bit held back…

Kiyo: What’s wrong with you?

Eli: What’s wrong with you?

Kiyo: Surina is draining too much Kotoda from my body. Within a few minutes, I’ll probably pass out.

Eli: You hide your exhaustion well.

Magnes: Don’t forget about our fight.

Kiyo: (Grins) I haven’t.

Eli: I’m poisoned, Kiyo. That’s what’s wrong with me.

Kiyo: Oh that’s all? Here, I have a cure in my bag. My aunt Mai gave it to me for when I traveled through the forest. (Grabs antidote from side pack.) Catch.

(Kiyo throws the antidote to Eli. Eli is about to grab it. A person runs at super speed and swipes it before Eli could touch it. The person slides to stop is speed. It is revealed to be Butch. Everyone is amazed.)

Magnes: Butch! What did I tell you about using that formula?! It is not perfected yet!

Kiyo: What formula?

Butch: The formula is used to synthetically give individuals super natural abilities.

Kiyo: Trying to force people to have cursed blood? Do you not know how stupid and outrages that is?! There is a reason why our blood is cursed!

Butch: Like my father said; it’s not perfected. That means I only have these powers for a certain time. Because it’s not perfected, I technically don’t have cursed blood.

Kiyo: Where is this formula from? Who made it?

Magnes: Why do I have to tell you anything.

Ninja5: Hey! Did you forget about our fight?

Magnes: Right, I suppose we did.

Butch: If you want this antidote, you’re going to have to catch me, Elijah! Good luck getting past the ninja!

(Butch dashes away toward the town as fast as he can.)

Kiyo: (Shrugs shoulders) Sucks for you, kid. That was my only antidote.

Eli: (Thinking) I will not die here. I’m gonna need to take them all out at once- one attack.

Kiyo: Good luck! (Gives Eli thumbs up)

(Eli dashes at super speed toward Butch.)

Butch: (standing above the crater) I was wondering when he would make his move. It’s about time.

(Butch dashes away. It doesn’t take long for Eli to catch up to Eli. The two of them are running through the roads of the town.)

Eli: Give me that antidote now!

Butch: I should be running a lot faster than this.

Eli: Your body is too big and you’re too fat. Your speed decreases quickly. And of course, I can run at the speed of sound.

(Butch stops running instantly. Eli cannot stop fast enough and Butch elbows Eli in the face. Eli falls and scrapes his back on the ground.)

Butch: (Angry) I am not fat and slow!

(Butch jumps and is hovering over Eli, while his back is being scraped. Butch tries to punch Eli in the face. Eli does a hand stand to dodge the punch and does a twist kick to Butch’s face. Butch flies to the side and hit’s the ground. Eli stops scraping the ground. He stands back on his feet and shakes of his burning hands. One hand has the antidote in it. Eli drinks the antidote. Butch stands up angry.)

Butch: Where are those masked ninja? They were suppose to protect me.

Eli: (Grins) No one’s here to help you. It’s just you and me, fatty.

(All five ninja are standing in the exact same position they were before. Hand-shaped rocks are holding the ninja down by their ankles. A powerful gust of wind blows through everyone’s faces. Everyone is closing their eyes except Kiyo. Kiyo stands and ignores the wind.)

Kiyo: (Thinking) It’s been awhile, Kiyomi. (Cracks a smile) I’ve been waiting for a very long time to see you again.

(The wind stops and Kiyomi appears in front of Kiyo. The two of them look at each other with serious faces, and the two of them have serious attitudes.)

Kiyomi: It’s been so long, Kiyo.

Kiyo: I’ve been searching for you, Kiyomi.

Kiyomi: After you take this guy Magnes out, I need your help.

Kiyo: You were the only love I had left when I was a child. And you left me. Why would I want to help you?

Kiyomi: I worked for Kaji. He told me to deliver the order to the mercenaries, invading your village. I decided not to deliver the message. I want Kaji dead now. I refuse to live my life in fear, now that I’ve went against his orders.

Kiyo: I was on my way to defeat Kaji myself; Eli and I.

Kiyomi: You know Eli?

Kiyo: How do you know him?

Kiyomi: Eli helped me get through the forest after I was blinded by an assassin. Her name was Aiko.

Kiyo: Eli told me about that. But he didn’t tell me it was you.

Kiyomi: I know it’s not easy for you to forgive me, Kiyo. But I’m asking you this favor, as a sister.

Kiyo: You may be my sister, but you haven’t been there for me at all.

Kiyomi: Maybe now, I can be, Kiyo. I want another chance to prove I’m worthy enough to be your sister. After our parents died, Rayna took the two of us in. But I abandoned you. And you were forced to live with Rayna and her son. I understand they were strangers at the time, but I just had to go. You just don’t understand.

Kiyo: Our entire family was killed. Not just our parents. Phantom killed all of them. I can understand why you left. You needed to find your own path in life.

Kiyomi: You must understand that I do love you, brother.

Kiyo: We’re not to that level yet, Kiyomi. You’re going to have to prove you do love me. What you say now, are just words.

Kiyomi: I understand… I’m sorry, brother… I’m going to help you out here, okay?

Kiyo: Sure.

(Kiyo and Kiyomi stand back to back.)

Kiyomi: I’ll take the five ninja. You go ahead and take Magnes out.

Kiyo: I’m taking him out after you’re done with the ninja. I don’t want any interruption between the two of us.

Kiyomi: I can feel your power slowly getting weaker, so I’ll try to make this quick.

Kiyo: It’s my Heat Sig technique.

Kiyomi: You’re already capable of that technique? But that’s a level four technique.

Kiyomi: I know it is. I honestly don’t know how I can do it. I’ve used a level four technique before. The thing is, I’m only a level two.

Kiyomi: Alright, let’s do this!

(Kiyomi releases the rock hands from each of the five masked ninja. The five ninja charge at Kiyomi from all sides. Kiyomi takes a deep breath.)

Kiyomi: Hurricane Force!

(Kiyomi spreads her arms and a giant spinning ball of wind forms around her body.)

Kiyomi: Air Cutter!

(The ball of wind releases powerful air strikes that cut each ninja’s body, like a blade. They fall back a few inches and blood begins to slowly drip from the random wounds of their bodies.)

Kiyomi: Sword of Kaze!

(The giant ball of wind takes the form of a sword. Kiyomi holds the sword in her hand. She stabs Ninja4 in the arm, in his open wound. She stabs Ninja1 in the stomach, in his wound. The two of them fall and Kiyomi jumps away. Ninja2 and Ninja3 charge at Kiyomi with swords in their hands. Kiyomi swipes the sword and causes a powerful gust of wind that trips both of them. She stabs Ninja2 in the arm and Ninja3 on the shoulder. All four masked ninja’s are down.)

Ninja5: Don’t forget about me.

(Ninja5 holds a small dagger up to Kiyomi’s neck from behind. Kiyomi‘s sword disappears.)

Ninja5: I am the leader of this team- Team 7. There are 9 teams total. No one can take us out!

Kiyomi: Well I’m going to destroy all 9 of your teams. I know all about you ninja. You all work for Kaji. I was his girlfriend.

Ninja5: Now that you mention it... Yes, I thought you looked familiar. you are her.

Kiyomi: Sorry, I recently got a new style of clothing.

Ninja5: Maybe I should just kill you now anyway. And take your head as a trophy.

Kiyomi: You won’t have the chance. I know how many of you ninja are still around. 9 teams. Each have 5 members. As of this moment, I declare one team… Dead… Pressure Burst.

(Ninja5 quickly stabs Kiyomi in the neck. The air within each of the ninja’s body begins to expand. Their bodies get bigger and bigger, until all five of them explode. The dagger that Ninja5 stabbed into Kiyomi’s neck flies toward Kiyo’s face. Kiyo grabs the knife in between two fingers. He throws the knife on the ground.)

Kiyo: A little extreme, don’t you think?

(Air begins to suck into Kiyomi's neck and heal her wound.)

Kiyomi: When I kill someone, it usually is.

Kiyo: How many people have you killed?

Kiyomi: I’ve only killed when I had to protect myself. It’s not something I keep track of.

Kiyo: So how many?

Kiyomi: 12. It was 7... These ninja are deadly, Kiyo. Only 8 teams are left. We have to destroy them all.

Kiyo: I’ve never killed anyone before. I don’t plan to either.

Kiyomi: You give yourself too much credit, Kiyo. You are walking the path of a fighter- A warrior. A part of that, is taking lives. I can see in your eyes that you live for revenge.

Kiyo: I live to kill Phantom.

Kiyomi: Kill Phantom?

Kiyo: (Sighs) I didn’t mean to say that.

Kiyomi: Too bad, you did. You want to kill Phantom.

Kiyo: I want you to go get Eli. He should be fighting Butch. After their fight, bring Eli here.

Kiyomi: ... Okay fine. (Runs away)

(Butch punches his arm through a brick wall. Eli jumps and kicks him in the face three times. Eli jumps away. Butch takes his arm out and throws a brick at Eli’s face. Eli punches the brick to break it. Butch uses super speed to charge at Eli and punch him in the face four times. Eli grabs Butch's right fist with his left hand during the fifth punch. Eli pulls him forward, then punches him in the face, to make him fall back. Butch tries to punch again. Eli catches his fist and kicks Butch in the chest. Butch grabs Eli’s arm with both hands and spins him in a circles 4 times. He throws Eli and Eli slams into a metal mailbox. Butch rushes after him. Eli grabs the metal mailbox hits Butch in the face with it. Eli lifts up the mailbox again to hit him in the face. Butch gives him a quick jab to the gut. Eli drops the mailbox. Butch grabs the mailbox and hits Eli in the head three times. Eli falls to the ground. Butch is about to hit him again. Eli quickly punches Butch in the gut, then jumps behind him, than throws him a few feet to the ground. The two of them are breathing hard.)

Butch: I’m surprised you have as much energy as you do.

Eli: (Breathing hard) Yeah… Me too. After all, that vial I took contained that formula. It didn’t contain the antidote. I just figured that out. Seems that synthetic formula has slowed down the poison… And it’s given me an energy boost. That's the only explanation as to why I have this much energy.

Butch: Do you know what powers that formula has given you?

Eli: It doesn’t matter. I don’t know, and don’t care. Now let’s finish this.

(Eli dashes at Butch and punches him in the face. Butch falls and hit’s the ground. His lip bleeds.)

Butch: How do you expect to defeat me, huh? Either you kill me, or I kill you!

Eli: I only planned to beat you, Butch. That was all.

(Eli punches Butch in the face three times. Butch is still on the floor. Eli kicks him in the face. Eli grabs Butch’s collar and throws him. Butch tumbles on the ground. Eli dashes at Butch again and Butch quickly stands on one knee and punches Eli in the stomach. He gives Eli an uppercut. Butch stands up, grabs Eli’s face, then slams his head into the ground. He stands over Eli and punches him in the face continuously. Eli moves his head to the side to dodge the 16th punch. Eli uses his strength to punch the ground and grab a small broken piece. He smashes the rock in Butch’s face. Eli uses his other hand to punch Butch in the face. Eli pushes him off. Butch tumbles back. Eli stands up.)

Eli: Alright. Time to end this. Heart Breaker!

(Eli hits Butch in the chest with two quick jabs. He uses full force on the third punch. Butch is thrown back over 100 feet. He slams through one building and crashes into the second. Butch is out cold. Eli is exhausted. He struggles to walk toward Butch.)

Eli: Grandma… Why didn’t you tell me there was more to your power? I may have extreme strength and extreme speed… But none of it is helpful, if you don’t learn how to control it. I understand that now. My Mercer Dive technique, and my Heart breaker technique, both failed. The Mercer Dive wasn’t suppose to do that much damage. It was suppose to make the force of the impact, go after the enemies. But I need to learn how to control that force. The Heart Breaker was only suppose to hurt Butch’s heart and the impact of the blow was suppose to shatter his rib cage. Instead, he flew through two buildings. Using these powers, also creates a strain on the body and drains energy very quickly.

(Kiyomi jumps in front of Eli and hands him the antidote. Eli takes it.)

Eli: This is the antidote?

Kiyomi: It looks like the antidote, but it’s not.

Eli: So that means, the vial I took was the antidote and not the formula?

Kiyomi: Yes. The two look very similar, but I’ve seen the formula many times, to be able to identify it.

Eli: So then… What was that burst of energy I got during battle?

Kiyomi: You have hidden energy inside you, Eli. You were able to use the energy within yourself to give you that burst.

Eli: Of course. I have a lot more power inside of me then I thought. So then… (Looks at hands) When I connect with someone emotionally, I not only get their physical power, but I have to learn how to spiritually control that power as well.

Kiyomi: Listen, Eli. I need a favor from you. I need you to please convince my brother Kiyo to let me go with you.

Eli: Wait, the two of you are related?!

Kiyomi: Yes. Now please tell me you’ll help me out. I need his help, if I’m going to defeat Kaji.

Eli: Kiyo told me that he was on his way to defeat Kaji. I’m sure the two of you will be able to go together. Or the three of us.

Kiyomi: Even with the three of us, Kaji will not be easy to defeat. Kaji Has a group of Ninja that are highly skilled. I just defeated one team.

Eli: Is that why there’s blood all over you?

Kiyomi: Yes… But try to ignore that.

Eli: (Smiles) Okay!

Kiyomi: (Smiles) Look, Eli. We’re going to need a bigger team, if we want a chance to defeat Kaji and his Ninja.

Eli: Was one of the ninja, the girl we fought in the forest; the one that blinded you?

Kiyomi: Yes. Her name is Aiko. Her team is the second most deadly team. The first being Kaji’s five guards.

Eli: I always like a challenge. But I’m going to need to learn how to control my power. I can’t just fight them, like how I did Butch.

Kiyomi: It’ll be awhile before we face Kaji. We’ll get stronger before we fight him.

Eli: Right! I can’t wait.

[Crater]

(Kiyo and Magnes are standing in the crater. The wind blows softly.)

Magnes: (Grins) Shall we begin our battle?

Kiyo: I wanted to wait for Kiyomi and Eli to get here. But I can see how eager you are to fight me.

Magnes: Of course the secret is out that my abilities are synthetic. I’ve only been given super strength. However, my son Butch has been given strength and speed.

Kiyo: Fire Jab!

(Kiyo quickly charges at Magnes and punches him in the face. Magnes falls to the ground. Magnes gets back up and and sees Kiyo running away toward the town. Moments later, Kiyo and Magnes are standing in front of each other, in the middle of the town. Many of the towns people are watching them face off.)

Kiyo: I’m not going to lecture you. You know what you did to the people of this town. You know how you hurt them. Now you will suffer.

Magnes: After I’m done with you, I’m going to kill every person in this town. I’m sick of these people. It’s time I move on.

Kiyo: Let us begin.

(Magnes puts spiked brass knuckles on both of his hands. Kiyo throws four fire balls at Magnes. Magnes punches all four away. His sleeve catches on fire. Kiyo amplifies the flame and Magnes’ sleeve is completely consumed in fire. Magnes tears his sleeve off and grows angry.)

Magnes: That was my favorite jacket. Oh well… Let’s try something new!

(Magnes’ brass knuckles open up where the sharp knuckles are. Small bullets come out of each opening. Magnes shoots them at Kiyo. Kiyo quickly creates a wall of fire in front of him. The bullets fly through and all eight bullets fly into his chest. The wall drops. Kiyo instantly falls to his back.)

Magnes: Honestly, I thought you would put up more of a fight.

Kiyo: (thinking) Rayna… What do I do? You told me about this. You warned me… I honestly didn’t think I’d die so easily…

Eli: There’s no way that one attack finished him!

Kiyomi: The bullets weren’t hot when they shot. That’s why Kiyo couldn’t control them.

Eli: You’re his sister. Help him. Heal him of something.

Kiyomi: There is nothing I can do, his heart has been punctured.

Eli: So that’s it? That’s how it all ends?

Kiyo: (Thinking) Thank you. I know what I must do.

(Kiyo’s body begins to heal and he stands up. A very powerful amount of blue energy is released from his body and is causing a very powerful gust of wind. Kiyo’s chest is healed by blue fire, and he becomes more evil.)
