It had never occurred to me how horrible and demented arranged marriages were. I had always seen other princesses get married off to a mysterious prince. Some were even lucky enough to get a young, dashing prince.
However, others were heartbroken and had tears streaming down their faces as their marriage was taking place. They were being married off to a much older man, someone who was allowed to do anything they pleased with the Princesses.
Arranged marriages were wrong, and frustrating. Most princesses were too young to marry someone they did not know.
So, how did I end up falling for my Prince? Even I do not know the answer.
