Field of Shadows

Matt held my hand as he walked me to my room.

I couldn’t stop thinking about the kiss.

We stopped at my door and I turned to Matt.

“First, I want to say I had a really great time with you.” I said, smiling at him. “Second, this.”

I got on my tip toes and placed a soft kiss on his lips.

He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me up to his level.

I pulled away and rested my arms on his shoulders.

We were both smiling.

“I had a really great time too.” Matt said, pecking my lips.

“You’re a really cool guy Matt.” I said. “I don’t meet too many guys like you.”

“What that’s supposed to mean?”

“Most guys are assholes and jerk.” I said.

“Ugh!” Matt said.

“But not you.” I pressed my lips to his and another make out session started all over again.

We didn’t stop until an old couple walked by.

“Take your wife into your room and do that.” The old woman said and I started blushing.

Ha, ha, wife?

The old man was just winking and smiling at us.

They kept going leaving Matt and I alone again.

I looked at him and started laughing.

“You heard the old woman. Let’s take this into your room.” Matt said, seductively.

“I wished we could, but Mikaela is in there.” I said.

“Oh. That’s true.” Matt said, kinda disappointed. “Another time?”

“Does that mean you want to go on another date?” I asked, playing dumb.

“Only if you’re up for it?”

“Of course I am. I really enjoy being around you.” I said.

“I enjoy being around you too.”

Matt leaned down to my level and kissed me.

Man, I just loved his kisses.

They made me feel.........

I don’t know.

Special.

Maybe it was time to move on.

“Goodnight Anna.” Matt said, kissing me before turning around.

“Goodnight Matt.” I said.

He came back over and embraced me in a hug.

“Bye beautiful.”

He kissed me one last time and then left to his room.

Yeah.

It is time to move on.
