Journey to a False Utopia
Elsempria - An isolated nation, which developed on its own for centuries. Its clockworks, factories, ships and railways steadily increasing in both quality and quantity. Year after year, the Elsemprian nation grows stronger. This steady advancement led to a national pride, and arrogance among the Elsemprian people, to the point where the nobody in Elsempria had ever thought of the possibility of foreign civilization.
Nobody but one man.
This same man sought out to find civilization overseas, to enlighten them on the advances of the Elsemprian people, and to prove to Elsempria that they were not alone.
He expected to find a primitive, although stable nation, perhaps centuries behind. The locals would be hostile at first, but after a display of superior craftsmanship and resourcefulness, he expected to impress these foreign people, and eventually assimilate them into the Elsemprian nation. However, the journey does not go the way he expected it.
