After the Storm

Lenore Avery is a rebellious tomboy whose older sister Michelle committed suicide last year. For months she was an alcohol and drug addict, but after seven months of being drunk something clicked, and that's when she learned she could write. Now, although she's not fully recovered, her wounds are starting to heal.
That is, until she meets Sage McAllen, the surly lesbian artist who is obsessed with the unconventional - and Lenore is definitely unconventional. As the two become close friends and, later, as the sparks start to fly, nothing will be the same.
