It was about 1 o’clock when I realized Blaire went out for a jog. “I got to get to the office by 6 today or Kate will be pissed.” collecting my things I put my shoes on and went out to my car. My black BMW and silver rimes shined even though it was dark. I take my phone out of my pocket and txt Blaire

I laugh; she gets annoyed whenever I do the bestie thing. Getting into my car I receive a call from Kate. “Hey we just got word from our undercover agent and he said that he has the proof we need to arrest these guys.” Kate said.
“and you’re calling me now because…” I say with a sigh.
“because I know you and knew you would be awake….make sure your here to work on time today! It’s imperative.” She says sternly.
“alright, alright I’ll be there. Bye” I hang up. She can be so demanding, I laugh. “I guess it’s my own fault.” I say with sarcasm even though I know it’s true. I turn the radio up. Avenged sevenfold Nightmare comes on. My favorite song by them! I turn up the volume as I drive to my house or “temporary house” as I should say. I don’t live in the same house for long. For the past 2 years I’ve been living in this apartment downtown. Finally I pull into the garage and went inside. I pause at the door due to my phone vibrating. I take it out of my pocket

I laugh, as I change my clothes I reply, I got to go. Important case today.
Finally lie down in my bed and try to salvage whatever I can for sleep. My alarm goes off 5 hours later. I quickly get ready to get to the BAU.
“Took you long enough!” Kate says.
“I’m here on time aren’t I.” I say.
“I guess…get your stuff quickly, I’ll brief you in the car.”
We drive downtown where the drug exchanges are being made. Kate fills me in. I grab the receiver and radio in “10-4 what’s your position?”
A man’s voice comes on “the deal is going down right now. There is a lot here. About 5 guys are here.”
“Got it.” I pull my gun from its holster and Kate does the same. I radio the team telling them to get into position. Within a matter of seconds Kate and I are at the front of our group opening the doors and seizing everyone in the building. I notice off to my right a guy sneaking out.
“hey you! Freeze!!” I yell as I point my gun at him. His face is shaded by the shadows of the boxes. He runs. I chase after him “I said freeze!!” I yell.
“Vlad! Wait for backup!” Kate yells to me.
“Screw backup! If I don’t chase after him he’ll get away!!” yelling back as I run after him. He bolts up the stairs to the roof. “I’ve got you know you basterd.” I say as I run after him. i don’t think he realized he was heading to the roof because at the top of the stairs he froze. I catch him and wrestle him to the ground putting his hands in handcuffs “you have the right to remain silent. Anything you say or do will be used against you in a court of law….” reading him his Miranda rights he looks away from me. He doesn’t resist. I find that odd. It might be because he’s high or because I’m sitting on him; I help him up. A few seconds later my partner Kate comes through the door
“god Vlad! You need to stop and wait for back up!” she says while breathing hard. Most likely from running up the three sets of stairs.
“Sorry Kate. I knew I could get him so I did!” I say trying to plead my case though I don’t know why.
She smiles “YOUR just lucky I like you so much” she helps me take the guy to our car where we put him in the back and take him to the police station. I sigh cause I’m exhausted. Another case over and done I think to myself. Or so I thought.
