Wish Right Now
Ch. 1/1: Shooting Stars

I starred at the giant green numbers on my alarm clock as I impatiently waited for it finally be 11:11.
Tonight was the night – it would soon be 11:11 on November 11, 2011. And tonight, I was going to make the grandest wish ever.
The seconds wouldn’t go by fast enough.
Come on… COME ON!! Change damn-it! I need to make this wish!
I fought back a yawn as I waited for the 60 seconds to be up. I couldn’t fall asleep, not now. My eyes fluttered again, and this time I let them stay shut – but it was only for a few seconds.
When I opened my eyes again, my cursed alarm clock read 11:12.
My entire world crashed around me – I had missed it.
My eyes couldn’t help but drift to my window, where I saw an airplane flying high in the sky. And just for the moment, I closed my eyes and pretended that it was a shooting star.
Because I could really use a wish right now.

This happened to me last night... except I slightly fabricated it. I fell asleep at 10:30 and set my alarm for 11:10, but my alarm never went off... and I woke up at 6:15.I'm done with my small ramble. Comments would be great! :)
