In No Hurry.

I wasn't ready for this.

I arrived at the coffee shop not even five minutes later and I found Kerri almost instantly. A smile hit her lips and I couldn't help but smile back as I sat across from her.

"Hey you."

I chuckled, "Hi. So you're at a coffee place wifout coffee?"

"I was waiting on you."

I laughed, "Well come on, love."

We walked to the counter and I let her order first. I handed the woman my credit card and Kerri glared at me, "Jona."

"What? I don't drink coffee and yeh were waitin' for meh so I'll pay. Not a big deal." I said sliding my card back into my pocket.

"Well, thank you."

I gave her a nod and we went back to the table. I watched her as she sipped on her coffee.

"You're quiet."

I smiled, "Yeah, well, I haven't had a lot of sleep."

"Why?"

"People kept calling me."

"Well you didn't have to meet me here."

"I don't know if you misread my text, but I kind of wanted to." I said and she laughed, "Oh is that what you meant?"

I nodded and she spoke once more, "I had fun with you last night."

"Yeah?"

She nodded and I smiled, "me too. So yeh should come wif meh ta Oli's tonight."

"Oh what's going on over there?"

"Well, I kind of got myself into a situation."

She laughed, "what do you mean?"

"I agreed ta baby sit so they could go out wif Tom and Katie. It seemed like a good idea until I realized I've neva baby sat before..."

She started laughing, "oh wow. Sounds like you do need me."

"I do." I said with a grin simply because I knew I'd get to spend more time with her.

"What time?"

"6. Is that ok? I mean, if yeh don't have plans."

She waved her hand at me, "no it's fine. Really."

"Ok, great."

"You and a kid alone is scary." She said giggling and I rolled my eyes, "Hey don't undaestimate meh."

"Oh? Can you change a diaper?"

He frowned, "well, um..."

"And they actually agreed to this?!"

"I was convincing!"

"Thank god this kid as me."

I chuckled, "No thank god I met you or he'd be dead..."

"Poor baby."

"Yeah, I know." I said staring at her. If only she knew what meeting her did to me.

We arrived at Oli's around 5 and Katie seemed to not be phased that I brought her with me. I swear to look so innocent she was very deceitful.

"Oh thank god. I was so scared." Lexi said once she saw Kerri.

"Hey!"

Kerri laughed, "No I was scared to that's why I'm here."

"Well thank you so much." She said handing Nick to her.

"No problem. We bonded at the wedding." She said causing me to chuckle as Nick stared at her confused.

"Why are you with Marissa again?" Katie asked as she passed me and I rolled my eyes although the thought crossed my mind every time I looked at Kerri.

"What happens now?" I asked once they left.

She laughed, "Nothing. We just keep him occupied." She said sitting him on the floor and handing him a toy.

"That's all?"

"Well until he's hungry and what not."

"Oh..."

She laughed as she sat beside him, "Don't worry Nick. You will live through tonight."

I chuckled and sat in the floor with them.

Nick gave me a look and randomly started laughing causing Kerri and myself to do the same.

"He's so cute."

"Yeah he prettah much is." I said reaching out for his hand.

Basically it was madness for the next two hours until he fell asleep on me. Kerri took him to his bed quietly and eventually fell beside me on the couch.

"Could yeh imagne havin' one of those fings?"

She laughed, "one of those things..."

"Yeh know what I mean." I said with a grin.

"No I couldn't." She said leaning against me as she yawned. I couldn't help but slip my arm around her waist, her perfume filling my nose at the contact. Before I knew it we fell asleep against our will. Who knew one kid could do that to two adults?

"Jona." Someone said shaking me and I mumbled a huh as I kept my eyes shut.

"Did Nick wear yeh out mate?" I heard Oli ask with a snicker.

I opened my eyes sleepily realizing Kerri was still snuggled up to me.

"That kid is crazy like yeh." I grumbled.

"He wasn't bad." Kerri mumbled causing Oli to chuckle, "Jona's just weak."

"Imagine if he watched him alone." She said now opening her eyes. I gave her a look and she gave me a cute, sleepy smile.

"Well I didn't so whateva." I grumbled.

"Well, feel free ta stay if yeh want."

"What time is it?" I asked with a yawn.

"Ten somefin."

"Ok."

"Thanks Kerri." Lexi said with a smile.

"Any time."

Oli gave me a smirk as he went upstairs. I looked down at Kerri and she kissed my cheek, "you weren't that bad."

"Fanks." I whispered finding my cheek tingling where her lips once were.

"Come on, I'll drive yeh home." I said pulling her from the couch. Her hand stayed in mine as we left the house and I couldn't get over how amazing something so simple felt.

The ride to her apartment was silent except for her telling me where to go and I even went the extra step as to walking her to her door.

"You can stay here if you want. I know it's late." She said linking her hands behind her back.

I so badly wanted to. The thought of sleeping in the same bed with her made me grow so nervous I felt my palms sweating.

"I mean I'm not making you I just know your place isn't exactly close to mine." She added quickly.

A grin hit my lips and I reached out grabbing her hand and pulling her to me, "come stay wif meh."

"But we're already here." She said softly.

I pressed my lips to her cheek causing my heart to beat 90 to nothing.

"Fine..."

As she unlocked her door I proceeded to turn my phone off incase Marissa attempted to call. I'd think about how messed up that was later.

I locked her door behind me then followed her wherever she was going which ended up being her room. I nervously sat on her bed as she opened up her closet.

I breathed in trying to get myself to calm down. You would have thought I had never been in a girl's room. I fell back onto the bed and closed my eyes.

"Going to sleep like that?"

I opened my eyes to see Kerri staring down at me with a grin. I chuckled and pulled her down onto me.

"Wasn't planning on it." I whispered and she brushed my hair from my forehead.

She leaned in and kissed my cheek, "Let's sleep."

"Yeah, ok." I managed to get out and she moved off of me.

This was getting harder and harder to do.

As she slept beside me it became evident that I needed to tell her I had a girlfriend, but yet I couldn't seem to find the logic in telling her. What if she wanted nothing to do with me after I told her? Then again, why should I tell her? This wasn't serious.

I sighed trying to turn my thoughts off as I placed my arm around her. Although I had all these excuses to not to tell her, what I was beginning to feel for her was becoming the problem. If only I could turn those feelings off.

I woke up the next morning to Kerri in my arms and to say it didn't make me happy would be a lie.

I kissed her cheek innocently before pulling myself off the bed.

I let myself roam her kitchen and it's astonishes me what you can learn from doing so. Like that she was an advocate coffee drinker. I mean the 5 different kinds of coffee she had gave that away.

I chuckled as I decided to make a pot of it for her. I didn't drink it, but I wasn't stupid.

I leaned against the counter and pulled my phone from my pocket debating on turning it back on. Before I could push the button Kerri walked in.

I instantly looked up at her and she gave me a grin.

"Good morning love." I said softly.

She blushed as she messed with her shirt and I chuckled at the lack of confidence she had now. She was so bold and lively usually that seeing her in this light was amusing and well, rather adoring.

"I made yeh coffee. Yeh fink yeh have enough?" I joked causing her to laugh, "It's an addiction."

"I see that. Ratha weird I must say."

"Oh right, silly me, most girls have addiction for shoes or something girly huh?"

I chuckled, "Exactly." I joked and she laughed as she poured herself some coffee.

"I need ta get goin'." I said although I didn't want to.

She nodded as she sipped her coffee and leaned against the counter across from me. I just watched her for a moment as her eyes never left mine.

"Can I see yeh tonight?" I finally asked.

She nodded once more and I smiled as I pushed myself from the counter.

"Tonight it is then. Have a lovely day Kerri." I said taking her hand in mine and gently kissing the top.

"You too." She whispered and I gave her a grin before letting myself out.

Maybe I was in over my head, but the thought of stopping now seemed ridiculous and to be honest I don't think I was ready to.
