I guess you could say I was invisible at school,
though not literally (how cool would that be?).
Nobody had made the effort to befriend me when I came,
which suited me just fine,
most of the time,
I'd never been very good at making conversation anyway.

But it was at times like these,
where I could only watch him from far away,
feeling pretty stalker like and hating myself for it,
but doing it anyway -I couldn't help myself- ,
that I wondered what it would be like to be seen.

Then I'd catch a glimpse of my reflection,
in a window or other shiny surface,

and realise it's probably better that way.
