Conquering America

You’ll find the courage to paint a world
That burns like hell
Not for allure, but mostly for yourself
‘Cause you needed escape
In a dark kind of way
It’s a sentiment you’ll never get used to
And I don’t want to hear it
I’ve seen soul
In the nerves of every feeling you fought
And maybe it’s enough to move us on
From where we started off

Mortality is a strange thing. Is it a concept or a fact? Do people die because their body stops, or do people die because we forget about them? It's a silly thought to get stuck on, and yet it controls the every thought and action of every living creature. What one can and cannot do is based off of the idea of "safety."

But what and where is safe these days?
  1. And When the Wave Comes Sweeping
the Cold Blood's Sleeping in Your Veins
  2. Your Veins, After the Fire
    the Sun Comes Crashing Through
  3. A Cloud so Black and Full of Rain
    of Rain, After the Fire
  4. I Swear One Day
You'll Forget Them Locking Us Away, Away, After the Fire
  5. Locked In
the Days Will End as They Begin
  6. With Yellow Moonlight on Your Skin
    This Madhouse is No Home
  7. But We Danced with the Ashes Falling
We were Singing by the Open Flame
