Hiding My Heart

Over the past couple weeks Jake keeps asking me to help him find out how to get around the command and tell Isabella. (I have resorted to calling her Isabella. Just to show my distaste of her.) So to get away from Jake's constant bothering I took on as many patrolling times as I could. He doesn't dare to ask me to help when anyone who is in wolf form can hear what we are talking about. I feel bad but then I am angry about what is going on with me and Jake. I try to hang out with him and she is all he can think about. It literally makes me sick. So the relationship between me and Jake has taken a downward spiral fast.

Once when I was patrolling I came across her sent mixed with a vampires so I howled telling everyone to get Off their lazy butts and come and help. Once we got to an opening we saw Isabella and the leech. I couldn't help but notice how Jake's eyes watch every step she took. I heard and felt the anger he had because his little Isabella was by a leech. I somewhat wished that the leech would grab her and run. But he ran as soon as he saw us. I quickly ran after but stopped and gave Isabella a quick growl. She screeched and fell back and Jake gave me a growl back but I couldn't help but feel good that she was afraid of me. We caught up with the leech easily and took him down. Sam told me that I should go get some rest I've been up running for a while. I gladly leave and go home. I fall a sleep as soon as my head hit the pillow.

That day was two weeks ago. Me and Embry were walking towards Sam and Emily's to get some breakfast when we heard the howl that calls us into a meeting. It sounded like it was by the beach. I said a few choice words and we ran into the woods. Once I was in my wolf form I started running to the meeting.

"Hey does anyone know what this is about?" Paul grumbled to us.

"Not sure but since Jake isn't here I'm thinking he called it" I replied in a somewhat annoyed tone.

Once we got to the place we shifted back. I quickly ran behind a tree to shift. No matter how many times I might accidentally see one of the guys naked or even them see me naked I try to keep away from seeing it.

Once everyone was shifted we all walked out together. We all saw Isabella behind Jake and everyone got furious. It is obvious that she knows about us now. I saw Paul push forward and yell something but all I had could focus on it trying not to shift in-font of that bitch. I seem to have just as much of a temper as Paul.

"Paul, Anna stop!" I heard Sam yell. No matter what the alpha commanded I couldn't calm down. I couldn't believe what Jacob has done. I saw Jacob step in front of the leech lover and I couldn't hold my anger anymore.

"That's right protect her! What about us?! We are your family?!" I screamed at him and I started to shift.

I saw my white paws and then I heard Paul shift too. I saw him jump towards Jake and Jacob shifted the fastest I have ever seen a wolf shift. They were fighting and I jumped it to try to get them to stop but I first got a good bite and swipe at Jake. While trying to get them apart I got a gash on my shoulder and a broken hand. Once they were done we all shifted back but hmmmm we didn't have clothes. My hand and shoulder hurt to much for me to care. Jake picked me up and we stopped went into his house he gave me a shirt to wear and I put it on once the wound healed.

"Asshole!!! You broke my hand! I was trying to break up the fight!"

"I'm sorry Anna."

"Whatever lets go to Sam's. I'll be fine in a little bit"

Once we got to Sam's I ran into the house and up some ice on my hand and a muffin. What I'm a growing wolf I need my food.

"Are you alright?" Isabella asked.

"Yeah I'm fine. I wouldn't have gotten a broken hand if you weren't even told about us though, Isabella." I said in a not to kind voice.

"I'm sorry. Please, call me Bella."

"I rather not, Isabella." I said putting venom into the word Isabella.

I feel kind of bad about being so rude to her but she took my Jacob and I just know when her leech comes back she will leave Jake high and dry. I am bitter towards her and I have no clue if I will ever forgive her for something that she hasn't totally done yet.

I see Embry get money from Jared; I'm guessing from a bet. I walk over and take the money from Em.

"Thank you." I say sweetly.

"Hey! I just won that!"

"Sorry Em but you owe me for the bet we made last week." I say smiling.

"Dang I thought you forgot about that. Also you have no pockets to put the money in I'll hold on to it for you."

"Shoot! I forgot I'm only wearing a shirt and underwear." I say blushing madly. I look around and see Paul checking me out and I want to throw up.

"Eh Paul eyes to yourself. I know you want me but I'm not interested. Sorry" I say winking at him and hearing the boys laugh when he quickly averts his eyes.

I laugh and sit down with the ice still on my hand that I know is quickly healing. The pack quickly gets into a conversation about Bella and I quickly tune out.

"Foods ready" Emily says putting the plate down and quickly getting out of the way. I grab a plate and eat quickly. Once everyone is done Bella and Jake go to his house and me and Em go home I actually want some more clothes on. We fell asleep right when we get home because we have to patrol tonight. My sleep turns out to be very restless.
