We Could Leave This Town and Run Forever

Some Princess You Are

It’s Halloween! And I am Sans- Ryan. I’m sad. But my costume is kid of inspired by him. My fiancée is a huge Star Wars nerd. It’s one of the reasons why him and Kirstie have the friendship that they do. You should have seen them the first time it was brought up in a conversation… But anyway, I decided to be Princess Leia. But it made me miss Ryan more. I knew he’d love it… so I had to Skype with him before Kirstie and I left for the little party McFly were putting on.

“Hey,” I smiled brightly once Ryan’s face appeared on my computer screen.

“Am I dreaming?” he chuckled while gazing at the screen with great intent.

“Do you like it?” I couldn’t help but giggle.

“You look adorable,” he grinned.

“It took so long to do my hair!” I had to throw out.

“… You couldn’t find a wig?” he tried to hold in a laugh.

“Shut up!” I shot at him playfully, causing him to laugh. “Am I a believable Princess Leia?” I went on.

“Oh yeah. Looks like I should have dressed up as Han Solo, huh?” he pressed on with that smile barely fading.

“You didn’t even dress up!” I countered.

“I’m the lead singer of a band,” he snickered.

“That’s original…” I teased.

“What’s Kirstie dressing up as?” he changed subjects.

“I don’t know. She’s been locked in the bathroom for a few hours now though. It must be something good,” I replied.

“Maybe she’s putting a bucket on her head and writing ice in real big letters,” he pressed on.

“You’re still not over that are you?” I couldn’t help but laugh.

“No,” he pouted. “You should do me a huge favor!” he perked up rather quickly.

“I’m not getting her back for you..” I muttered.

“Oh, come on,” he just kept going.

“NO!” I tried to be stern, but all I could do was laugh.

“Please,” he pouted and it was so darn cute… but I couldn’t pull a prank on my best friend!

“When you come back or when we get home, you can do it. Until then, you have plenty of time to plot your revenge,” I assured him.

“Some princess you are,” he mumbled.

“Well, I need to get going if Kirstie and I are going to make it to this party on time,” I butted in.

“Fine,” he huffed teasingly.

“Love you, baby,” I smiled.

“I love you too… even if you won’t prank your best friend for me,” he grumbled.

I just let out a giggle before we said our goodbyes. I’m not going to lie, I was curious as to what his little prank was. But I guess I’ll find out when him and Kirstie are in the same room again. I’m not about to prank my best friend though. Number one: she’s my best friend. And number two: I’m horrible at pranking! I’m sure they’ll be plenty of that tonight with McFly and their Halloween antics. I don’t need to be in on that action… at all.
