I knew I shouldn't have taken that turn so fast. I knew I shouldn't have been doing thirty over the speed limit on the mountainous roads. I knew there was a cliff below. I knew all of this.

And for once, I didn't care. I grabbed the wheel and took a sharp turn to the right, straight through the guardrails on the road.
