Both of us knew it was only supposed to be a bet between two friends. It was something we had done all the time. Unfortunately, this time we didn't realize how involved into the bet we were getting. I didn't just want Jack to admit he liked me, I wanted him to be mine.

I'm Alex, I'm what you call 'a heartbreaker'. Strangely enough, I never guessed I'd ever break his heart, not in the least.
