"So, where are we?" I asked. Patrick turned around in his chair and smiled.

"We finished the first song, and we need the vocals for My Hero and Harder to Breathe," he answered. I smiled and pulled Hayley into the recording room with me. She put on one pair of head phones, and I put on another, but we stood in front of the same mic and waited for the music to start.

"Too alarming now to talk about
Take your pictures down
And shake it out
Truth or consequence, say it aloud

Use that evidence race it around

There goes my hero
Watch him as he goes
There goes my hero
He's ordinary

Don't the best of them bleed it out
While the rest of them peter out
Truth or consequence, say it aloud
Use that evidence race it around

Kudos my hero
Leaving all the best
You know my hero
The one that's on"

Patrick gave us the thumbs up and both of us headed back into the front room. I grabbed Brendon's arm and pulled him into the recording room and put the head phones back on.

The music started again, only this was a different song, and we began to sing.

"How dare you say that my behavior is unacceptable
So condescending unnecessarily critical
I have the tendency of getting very physical
So watch your step cause if I do you'll need a miracle

You drain me dry and make me wonder why I'm even here
This Double Vision I was seeing is finally clear
You want to stay but you know very well I want you gone
Not fit to fuckin' tread the ground that I'm walking on

When it gets cold outside and you got nobody to love
You'll understand what I mean when I say
There's no way we're gonna give up
And like a little girl cries in the face of a monster that lives in her dreams
Is there anyone out there cause it's getting harder and harder to breathe
Is there anyone out there cause it's getting harder and harder to breathe

What you are doing is screwing things up inside my head
You should know better you never listened to a word I said
Clutching your pillow and writhing in a naked sweat
Hoping somebody someday will do you like I did

When it gets cold outside and you got nobody to love
You'll understand what I mean when I say
There's no way we're gonna give up
And like a little girl cries in the face of a monster that lives in her dreams
Is there anyone out there cause it's getting harder and harder to breathe
Is there anyone out there cause it's getting harder and harder to breathe

Does it kill
Does it burn
Is it painful to learn
That it's me that has all the control

Does it thrill
Does it sting
When you feel what I bring
And you wish that you had me to hold

When it gets cold outside and you got nobody to love
You'll understand what I mean when I say
There's no way we're gonna give up
And like a little girl cries in the face of a monster that lives in her dreams
Is there anyone out there cause it's getting harder and harder to breathe
Is there anyone out there cause it's getting harder and harder to breathe
is there anyone out there cuz its gettin harder and harder to breathe"

Patrick gave another thumbs up, and Brendon and I walked out of the recording room. As soon as we joined everyone, there was a knock on the door. Autumn opened it to show the lady from the front desk waiting with a clip board standing there.

"There's a visitor for a Mr. Urie, and another for.....Autumn?" she asked. Brendon had a smile on his face, but Autumn looked confused. She shrugged and followed Brendon and the lady back to the front room, and I turned to Dev who was sitting on Jeremy and smiled.

"Where's Wentz?" Matt asked. I looked up at him and shrugged.

"He had some things to get done today, and he's leaving for New York in two days."

"So are we, right?" Sonny asked. Matt turned to him and slapped him upside the back of his head. Sonny then realized that I wasn't supposed to know, apparently. And I then glared at Matt.

"What does he mean?" I asked. Matt sighed and was about to explain when a very tall, very lanky someone burst through the door and engulfed me in his spider-like arms.

"Paigey!" He yelled. Matt almost fell over in his chair and I giggled, wrapping my arms around the very long person that was holding me. Man did he make me feel short or what?!

"Billy boy!" I yelled back. I glared at Matt over William's shoulder, letting him know that he was going to tell me what Sonny meant whether I had to beat it out of him or not.

"Okay, get off my friend and give me some loving, boy!" I heard. Apparently, he skipped Autumn, his own girlfriend, to hug me first! He blushed and I shrugged after he pulled back, then attacked Autumn with his mouth. Man, he acts like hes sixteen, not 22.

Brendon came in with a girl about his height with a blue long sleved-v cut shirt on, striking blue eyes, and short black hair. She was blushing wildly when she saw us all, even though she had come into the room with the Brendon Urie. He smiled at all of us, bringing her into the room with him.

"Dudes and etts, this is Iesha. My girlfriend," he said. I smiled an advacned on them first, since Dev was still perched on Jeremy's lap. I held out my hand and introduced myself, getting a shy smile in return.

"I know, huge fan," she said. Brendong mumbled something about 'more than huge' or something, but Iesha and I ignored him and started having....I guess you could call it 'girl talk', although it was mostly her asking me what it was like to go through everything I had. Kinda reminded me of another interview.

I got to know her a little better, but we had to leave early that day. I tried to ask Matt about the whole 'going to New York' thing, but he just told me to be ready by tomorrow night, packed and everything.
