When the Devil Meets an Angel

Xenos froze.
The question keeps on replaying through his mind.
"In my cottage. I have two showers and a guest room. You can use the shower and the bathroom in the guest room....."
Xenos was quiet than asked, "Would your father allow it?"
"I'm sure he'd allow a dear friend to move in."
"I was actuallythinking about the part where I'm a male. we don't want him getting the wrong idea."
"Oh...."
"Sorry to be awkward."
"No, no its okay. I never really thought about the gender difference." she frowned. "I think he'd let you."
"Okay, we'll see."
Xenos was quiet for a second than asked, "How old are you?"
She smiled. "17. And you?"
"18"
"One year difference."
"Yeah."
They finished eating, the sunrise saving them from an awkward silence.
After they cleaned up, and after another tutorial on how to mount a horse, the rode off towards her estate, both of them wondering what Mr. Redwoods's answer would be.....
