When the Devil Meets an Angel

"Sammi?" she heard callen out through the darkness.
"Yes, Xenos?" she whispered.
"I can't sleep with that fox of yours staring at me like I'm a psycopath." he whined.
She stifled a giggle.
"It's not funny!" he hissed.
"No one said it was!" she said, laughing. "C'mon. Lay next to me."
All Xenos was wearing was boxers a pajamas so he couldn't help but feel self-concious.
Sammi stroked his wrist and a felt a faint scar underneath. She gasped.
"Did you cut yourslef, Xenos?" she asked in a serious tone.
Xenos tensed up, holding still.
"Actually....Yes....." he whimpered.
Sammi brought his wrist to her lips and kissed his wound. There were also multiple cuts.
She sighed. "We have to keep that from my father. He'll freak."
"They'll fade away soon." he croaked.
"We also are going to buy you new clothes."
"But I don't have any money."
"We have more money than we want."
"But-" Xenos protested.
Sammi put a pale finger up to his lips.
He blushed and thanked the darkness for masking it.
"Go to sleep." she whispered soothingly.
Sammi wrapped some of the covers over Xenos and the bother went peacefully to sleep.
