Spectrum: or A Love Story Between Two Entities That Never Wished to Meet in the First Place

Spectrum is an idea I've had for a while after listening to copious amounts of Pink Floyd's Dark side of the Moon. It's a love story, not between two wayward romantics, longing for a love that transcends all others, who find each other because it was destiny! But rather a love that was destined but was never wanted by either members of the relationship. I highly dislike [writing] romance, so don't think that this is a "pure romance" because it's not.
