Lovesick

xvii. ghostly powers

You say, “Just leave,”
into the darkness of my eyes
and I want to clutch
at your shirt until you
let me stay.

You say, “Just leave.”
So I do.

I have to walk through a wall
to do it but I would do anything
you want me to do.
I just wish there was a door or a
window;
because walking through a wall
is unbelievably
difficult.
