More Than This

"Ladiesssss guess what" Niall walked into the girls hotel room and sat down with summer.
"What?" Summer said sitting on his lap
"One Direction is heading to a charity event in Ireland for the weekend" He said excitedly
" And why is that exciting?" Eleanor said walking into the room "You guys do events all the time"
"This is exciting because after the event we're spending the weekend in my cabin in Ireland"
"Cool, but once again, why is this exciting for us?" Arabella said following Eleanor
"BECAUSE, you guys are gonna come too!" He said as if they should have figured it out ages ago.
"Oh my gosh!" Bella said "A weekend away with you guys in Ireland sounds amazing"
"Yeah Totally" Summer agreed excitedly
"Oh" Eleanor said.
"You're not excited Ele?" Niall asked
"I don't really think I should be going Nialler" she said disapointed
"Ele!" Summer yelled "You have to go!"
"I don't think Zayn would want me to be going" she said softly.
"Eleanor you have to come" Niall said "Just hang out with me Harry, Summer, and Bella, like we always do!"
"I don't know guys" Eleanor replied "It just seems like a terrible idea"
she did the first thing she thought of, she nervously texted Zayn, She hadn't tried talking to him in days, "So...I got invited on your trip this weekend..." she looked at the text, it took her 10 minutes to build up the courage to send it. Send. It was done. She felt kind of sick waiting to see what he'd say, that is, if he bothered replying. Ding! she got a text, from zayn, she opened it,
"Are you gonna go?" he said. okay okay, she needed to calm down
"Well, I thought about it, but it is your trip, I wouldn't wanna ruin it for you.." She wanted to go see Zayn so bad.
"Yeah" he replied, Yeah? what did that mean?
"So I'll probably stay home" she replied.
He didn't reply, So that was it, She wasn't gonna go, there was no way she was showing her face around Zayn. No way.
"So you guys. I'm just gonna stay home, but I'm serious this time, I'm not letting any of you stay back with me" She said seriously "I'll be here when you get back, it's just one weekend, you're going, and you're going to have fun" She fought back to any argument they could throw at her before they even had the chance to talk, she really wanted them to go.
"Eleanor!" Arabella said obviously not wanting to leave Ele behind.
"I really want some alone time actually Bella, Thats always what I need after a breakup"
She was lying, she didn't wanna stay home, but she was not letting them stay with her.
Her phone started ringing, It was Zayn? why was he calling her?
She ran out onto the balcony
"Hello?"
"It's Zayn" he said even though she knew
"Oh, yeah, did you want something?"
"I know you want to go on this trip" He said
"Yeah but-"
He cut her off, he was good at that. "You want to go, and you're going to go, maybe it'll be a little awkward at first but this is your vacation and it's not right to make you stay back in the hotel"
"Uhm...okay, I'll go" she said "If you're sure it's okay with you"
"Yeah its fine." It was quiet for a minute "I gotta go now" He said
"Okay, bye" she said, it was awkward. He hung up. She smiled, it was weird, she was kind of upset about awkward it was, but they had just tackled the first talk since the breakup, it would totally be easier next time. She walked back in the room
"On second thought guys, I'm gonna go" She said smiling
"YAY" Summer said
"Alright ladies, you should get to sleep, we're leaving early tomorrow, it's a very long drive and we need to be there by tomorrow night, so we're all ready Friday morning" Niall said
Summer ran up and kissed him before he left
"Ewwwwwwwww" Arabella and Eleanor said jokingly
"Shuuuddup guys!" Summer laughed
The girls packed up their stuff, then went to bed.
The next morning, the girls got up super early to try and look cute for their long roadtrip
The boys showed up in a big van, You ladies ready? Harry and Niall said grabbing Summer and Bellas hands, Eleanor awkwardly walked beside them.
Harry and Bella and Niall and Summer grabbed the middle seats so they could sit together,
So her options were sitting in between Liam and Zayn in the back or up front with Louis. Either way was extremely awkward she sort of stood there waiting for someone to tell her to go,
"Well, get in" Louis laughed looking at the seat next to him. For some reason Louis was really good at playing things off so it didn't seem awkward. Which was good, she guessed.
Zayn rolled his eyes.
"Come sit here!" Liam pointed at the seat in between him and Zayn. She could tell her was trying to help her out, but it ended up badly either way.
"Uhm, okay" She looked at Zayn for approval, he ignored. 4 hours in this seat was probably going to be the most uncomfortable moment of her life. Once they got to Liverpool they were gonna take the ferry to Dublin. Bella turned around to talk to Eleanor feeling bad for making her sit there, but it was only so long before Harry distracted her. after about 2 hours almost everyone fell asleep exept for her her Liam, Zayn and Louis. She laid on Liam, he laughed, "shush" she said before anyone brought up the fact she was well avoiding Zayn.
Zayn looked at Liam, Liam thought the whole situation they were in was hilarious, and he was not afraid to show it. She punched him in the arm,
"Shut up Liam!" she said rudely "I'm tired" she laid back on him. He had no choice. Louis was mostly quiet, the entire ride.
They finally got to the ferry. They were all got up, it was still earlier in the evening but it was dark already. They grabbed all their bags and got on. The ferry ride wasn't very long, and they weren't all crammed so it wasn't as awkward, she basically stalked Bella the entire time giving her no alone time with harry
"You owe it too me" she said referring to the car ride.
They took a cab to Niall's cabin, it was dark, but Ireland was so beautiful.
As soon as they got there they all sat down in the living room
It was time for the sleeping arrangements
"Theirs three bedrooms" Niall said turning on all the lights The place was nice, realllly nice.
"Me and Liam will bunk together!" Louis said
"Okay, you two will take the room with one bed" None of the boys had a problem sleeping in the same bed, but no one actually cared, which was sort of odd.
"Me and Summer, and Harry and Bella can take the big room, then that leaves......." He noticed the only two left were eleanor and zayn.
"umm maybe we should re-do this" Bella suggested
"There's two beds in the third room if you two don't mind..." Niall said
"I don't care" Zayn said walking into the room, he obviously didn't like the arrangements
Eleanor followed him into the room and sat on one the beds.
"I can sleep on the couch if you-"
There he went cutting her off again, it was a hobby of his "No Eleanor, it's fine, we're obviously gonna have to be around each other alot so we might as well get used to it" he laid on his bed and turned off the light
"oh okay.." She was terrible at this.
"Day 1 down....I guess" She thought to herself
