Caught Up In You.

Your ways.

It was strange that it had ended up like this more than once in our relationship. Sophia drunk, me sober. Usually it was the other way around for me, but I couldn't imagine it being that way now simply because I felt the need to watch over her more than drinking.

"Oli!" She said walking over to me and throwing her arms around my waist with a drunken smile on her face.

I couldn't help but chuckle and stare down at her as I held her to me, "Hey my love. Yeh ok?"

"Yeah. I may be drunk though."

"Yeh tellin' meh!" I responded with a laugh causing her to do the same.

"Sorry." She said with a frown and I smiled, "Quite alright my love. I'll take care of yeh."

She leaned up and kissed me quickly, "Take me home."

"Home or with meh?" I asked with a grin and she buried her face into my shirt.

"Home is with you. Trust me." She mumbled causing a bit of pride to rise in my chest. A grin was permanently on my lips now simply from her drunken words.

"Ok, my house it is." I said kissing her head before grabbing her hand up and pulling her through the crowd. I passed Jona and told him we were leaving on our way out.

She clung to me once the cold night air hit her. "Why did you park so far?" She asked shivering on my arm and I couldn't help but chuckle before pulling her to a stop. She stared at me waiting for me to do or say what I wanted.

I picked her up and she wrapped her legs around me instantly, "I'm in a dress." She said and I laughed, "I've got yeh covered. Plus, there's no one out, doll."

"You don't know." She mumbled as she cuddled herself to my chest to keep warm.

The walk to my car was quiet and I unlocked the door before placing her on her feet.

"Cold again." She frowned and I laughed, "Home soon." I said kissing her quickly before opening the door for her.

I held her hand as I drove to my house. She was quiet so I knew she had to be getting tired. Once we arrived she got out on her own and I held her hand until we reached my room.

"That was fun."

I chuckled as she pulled off her shoes, "Yeah it was."

"Can I borrow a shirt?"

"Why are you asking?" I asked chuckling and she shrugged before walking to my closet. I couldn't help but watch her pull a shirt off the hanger and strip out of her dress like I wasn't here. I had to bite my lip reminding myself that she was intoxicated because my shirt covered enough to make you wonder and she quickly pulled her hair up messily.

"Oliver?" She said looking at me and I quickly brought myself back to reality, "huh?"

"Why are you staring at me like that?"

"Oh..." I responded a smirk hit my lips because I was caught, "Yeh fit. So, I'm lookin' at yeh. Sue meh."

She was now in front of me with a grin on her lips and her hands on her hips, "And you're still in clothes, why?" She finally asked with a raised eyebrow before moving to my bed.

"Yeh keep talkin' like that and see what happens..." I grumbled as I pulled my shirt over my head.

"Like what?"

"Like what yeh said! Keep it up and yeh gonna beh naked soon." I responded honestly.

She laughed as I fell onto the bed beside her. I looked over at her and she climbed on top of me causing me to groan, "Sophia. Let me tell yeh righ' now, if yeh playin' wif meh I'll hurt yeh."

She laughed before kissing my lips. I ran my hands up her thighs as her tongue entered my mouth. If she wasn't kidding I wouldn't object.

"Yep. I reallah, reallah like yeh drunk."

She laughed as I placed kisses down her neck and ran my hand up her side. There was no turning around now.

I woke up the next morning, tangled in the sheets with Sophia on my chest. I kissed her bare shoulder and wrapped my arms around her tightly. It was odd for me to feel so much for a girl and I feared if something evr happened between us that I'd never be as happy as she makes me feel.

She evntuallymoved which led me to believe she was up so I kissed up her neck as I laid her on her back so I could hover over her.

"Hung ova?" I asked running my fingers down her jaw. She shook her head no as her eyes stayed shut tightly.

"Probably tha houas of sex."

A blush hit her cheeks causing me to chuckle at her. She squinted up at me and I kissed her cheek, "What? It probably was!"

"Shut up." She mumbled and I kissed her cheek, "I love yeh."

"Love you too."

"Want me to make yeh breakfast?" I asked brushing her hair back.

She nodded and I kissed her forehead, "Ok."

I slid from the bed and pulled on my boxers and jeans.

"Pancakes."

"Aren't yeh tired of that shit?" I asked laughing and she smiled as I went to the kitchen. It wasn't long after though that she joined me in her boyshorts and my shirt.

"You know what?" She said wrapping her arms around me from behind.

I let out a laugh as I felt her lips hit my back, "What?"

"My boyfriend is really sexy." She said causing me to laugh even more, "Yeh fink? Well yeh should see his bird." He joked.

She giggled from my remark and I tried to focus on the task at hand but having her around distracted me in the best way.

"Did you see Lee hittin' on that bird last night?" I asked laughing as we sat in the floor of my kitchen eating pancakes.

She giggled from her spot, "Yes! Oh my gosh. You know what he said to her?"

"What?" I asked smiling from hearing her laugh.

"He literally went up to her and said, well I know why there aren't stars out tonight and she asked why and his response? Because..."

"They're in yeh eyes." I finished for her and we both went into a fit of laughter. Tears were now falling from her eyes and for some reason it made me laugh even harder.

"Stop it yeh silly bird my side is hurtin'!"

She giggled and fell into my lap with a smile.

"Yeh have a propa cute laugh." I whispered kissing her cheek.

"Do not."

"Yeh do." I whispered wrapping my arms around her and kissing her cheek once more.

I always found myself enjoying simple moments with her that would have, under any other circumstance, not phased me. Loving her as much as I did made me realize I couldn't imagine being with anyone else. In the midst of my thoughts my doorbell rang and her eyes locked with mine. I sighed and kissed her lips, "Go put some pants on love."

"Well who is it?" She asked as I held her from the floor.

"I don't know love, but I don't care. I don't want any of'em ta see yeh arse no matta who it is." I said chuckling as I shooed her up the stairs on my way to the door.

Once I opened the door though my smile faded to surprise, "Mum? Uh. Hi. What are yeh doin' here?" I asked now a bit nervous. The one person who could actually scare me a bit was her.

"Well Oliver, I haven't seen yeh in weeks so I figured I'd come meet the bird who was keepin' yeh occupied these past few months." She said frankly and I rubbed my neck awkwardly, "Mum, shut up she's here." I whispered with a serious tone if possible. She walked in and as I shut the door back I heard the shower come on causing a bit of relief to wash over me.

"Well, who is she?" She asked with a grin as she fell onto the couch.

"She is related to the Brooks next door. She was dog sittin' a while back."

She nodded and I sighed as I continued, "She's nuffin like Tiffany, she's smart and funny and beautiful inside and out, mum. Juss wait yeh can meet her." I said realizing for the first time since I can remember I was actually proud to call my girlfriend, my girlfriend.

She stared at me with an odd look as I tugged on my hair nervously waiting for her to speak. When words never came I breathed in once more, "I, I love her, mum. A lot. She's bloody perfect in every way possible for meh. She listens and she doesn't pressure meh inta talkin', cause yeh know I hate that, and she's witty as hell..." I added with a grin and she finally spoke, "Oh my god. I can't believe this is coming from yeh. Did Tom tell yeh to say this to get my hopes up?"

I rolled my eyes, "No, 'fraid not. Let meh go see what she's doin'."

She nodded with a smile and I fled up the stairs and into my room where Sophia stood brushing her now dried hair.

"Meh mum is here."

"What?" She asked wide eyed.

"Yeah, and she wants to meet yeh..."

"Oli! No. Look at me!" She said and I scanned her quickly. She was in jeans and a t-shirt and I didn't know what was wrong with it so I gave her a confused look.

"I have no make up on, my hair is a mess and..." she started ranting and I cupped her face with a smile, "My love, yeh are simply ravishin' ok?"

"To you! Not to normal people!"

I laughed at that, "I'm not normal?"

"Loving someone clouds their judgment." She grumbled and I kissed her quickly.

"Bullocks. Please do this for meh. It's reallah important ta meh ok?" I asked softly as I grabbed her hands up.

She sighed and I kissed her once more, "I promise on my life yeh do not look bad. Yeh propa cute." I said seriously and she nodded as she bit her lip.

I smiled and led her slowly out of my room. I was nervous for several reasons. I wanted the two of them to like each other. It was important to me. I wanted my mom to see how different Sophia was compared to all those other girls. I wanted her to see how amazing and wonderful she is.

"Hi. I'm Sophia. I swear I don't look like this on a daily basis." Sophia said with her vibrant smile as she stuck her hand out to my mom.

Not that it was any surprise, but my mom let out a laugh as she shook her hand lightly, "Yeh fine dear. I can't believe Oli's datin' a bird that doesn't wear make up 24/7."

Sophia let out a laugh and I rolled my eyes, "Come on mum..."

"Oli just made some pancakes. Would you like some?" Sophia asked and my mom narrowed her eyes at the girl, "Alright. Who is this man and what have yeb done with my son?"

"Ha ha mum so funny." I said glaring at her and Sophia's cute laugh hit my ears.

"I don't know, but talking to you makes me wonder..."

"Hey, hey now. Enough. Don't talk ta meh bird." I joked covering Sophia's ears. They both laughed causing a smil to hit my lips.

"I'll make some tea." I added kissing Sophia's cheek before heading into the kitchen. I could hear them talking from here and a feeling of happiness hit me knowing that this was going well. Then again, how couldn't you love Sophia?

I turned on the stove to boil the water right as my mum walked in.

"She ran to the bathroom." She said and I nodded as I leaned against the counter. A smile hit her lips as I waited on her to say something.

"She's lovely, Oliver."

"I told yeh she's different mum. She's amazin'." I said with a grin and she chuckled, "Seein' yeh like this is funny. It's always Tom..."

"Yeah well, I truly mean it unlike that bloke."

"She's pretty. I don't think I saw yeh last girlfriend with even a hair out of place."

"Yeah that was the problem I think. Sophia is the opposite of that."

"Which is probably what yeh need."

I chuckled, "yeah, yeah."

"Yeh cooked for her?" She asked and I rolled my eyes, "I cook for her all tha time thank yeh very much."

She laughed, "Poor girl."

"Hey! She will be the first to say I'm a good cook." I responded defensively.

"Is she livin' here?"

"Mum, what's up wif the 20 questions?! No. She has her own place."

"Just trying to find out what's going on in my secretive son's life!"

I rolled my eyes, "Not secretive at all. Ask away. No she's not living here, yes we do stay together a lot, yes I cook for her most of the time."

"And are yeh being safe?" She asked with a raised eyebrow and I groaned. Well, last night not so much, but in general, yes.

"Yes. No more questions like that!"

"Ok, ok. Just wondering." She said as Sophia appeared back in the kitchen.

"So my son can actually cook?" She asked changing the subject which I was relieved about.

To my surprise my mom stayed for almost two hours and as I walked her to her car she gushed about Sophia. Which made me oddly proud.

"Oli, you better not screw this up." She threatened and I chuckled, "I won't, mum. I'm glad yeh like her."

"Yeh two need to come have dinner with us soon."

"We will. I promise. I'm sure she'd love to." I said holding her door for her as she got into her car.

Once back inside Sophia was sitting on the couch as I fell beside her.

"My mum loves yeh. Probably more than she loves meh." I joked.

"I love her too! She's awesome."

I smiled and leaned over kissing her lips, "Thank yeh."

"For what?"

"I don't know. Just for bein' yeh. Yeh propa lovely and I bloody love yeh so much." I whispered kissing her once more.

"I love you too."

She smiled at me and I brought my hand to her cheek, "They want us ta have dinna wif them some time soon."

"That would be ok." She said kissing me and I smiled against her lips, "I hope I make yeh happah Sophia because I have never been as happah as I am now that yeh in my life."

"You do make me happy. Overly happy. I love you." She said snuggling up to me and I let out a sigh of relief. This girl had to be mine forever.

Ok. So I thought this would be the last chapter...I lied. :3 I'm not sure how many more, but a good bit I can assure.

I've been slacking on updates. Well slacking for me since I use to update every other day. I've just had writers block you could say. No drive to write really, but I think I've cleared that up! I am beyond excited to start my Josh Franceschi story. That is one thing I've been able to still focus on! :)

Anyways. Comments are nice. Of course, I can always count on StellaSykes for that...haha
