Caught Up In You.

What you want.

I woke up the next morning with a headache and I groaned as I covered my face with my pillow.

This was all Oli's fault.

I forced myself from bed and showered hoping that would make me feel a bit better. Mission failed of course.

Once I was dressed and ready the sound of the doorbell filled the house.

I sprinted down the stairs and opened the door to come in contact with a smiling Oli, holding a cup of coffee.

"Figua yeh migh' need this."

"Thanks." I responded ushering him in so I could close the door. I fell onto the couch sipping on the warm liquid as soon as I did so.

"How yeh feelin'?"

"Not as good as you."

He chuckled and sat beside me.

"Matty's been blowin' up my phone askin' if he could have yeh numba. I figured I'd ask yeh first though."

"Oh." I said blushing madly at the thought of Matty. He was a cute boy I suppose.

He grinned as he leaned back against the couch, "So yeah?"

I nodded and he chuckled, "So, yeh do like him?"

"Possibly." I mumbled bringing the cup to my lips.

"Well, no surprise here, but he likes yeh. Yeh a charmin' bird."

I rolled my eyes, "Yeah, it sucks being so awesome."

"Yeh soundin' like meh, love." He said with a grin as I watched him text away on his phone.

"What are you doing?"

"Textin' him so he'll leave meh tha hell 'lone."

"So, how is Matty?" I asked and he looked at me, "He's a propah good lad. Smokes probably too much, but otha than that, I don't see why yeh wouldn't like him."

I nodded and looked down at the cup in my head. Yeah, Matty was really sweet and funny so I didn't have a problem talking to him, I just, well, it was safe to say I had grown quiet fond of Oli. Of course he had a girlfriend so I assume there really wasn't anything holding me back from dating Matt, but still.

"What's wrong?" He asked causing me to look up at him.

"Nothing. Just feeling like shit."

He chuckled, "Well get yeh shoes on and I'll take yeh ta lunch ta make up for meh gettin' yeh drunk. Although, it wasn't my fault."

"Ok."

"Should I invite Matty?" He joked and I pushed him lightly on the way to my room.

"Seriously, yeh should get ta know him. I fink yeh'd like him." He said as I re-entered the living room after sliding my toms on.

"Look, I don't date. I mean, the whole awkward, unomfortable first date. Blah." I said falling beside him and laying my head against his arm.

He chuckled, "Yeah. So blah."

"Don't make fun of me."

"I'd neva do such a fing."

I looked up at him and he grinned, "Fine, no date. Juss a hang out."

"What does a hang out include?"

He laughed, "Otha people. Oh! Or we could go on a double date when my bird gets back which should be in two days."

"One step at a time!" I said causing him to chuckle.

The thought of going on a date that included his model girlfriend made me cringe. Although for all I know, she could be a great person, I didn't want to find out. Typical girl of me, I know.

"Fine. A hang out it is. Anotha partah. Maybeh a small gatherin'." He said and I rolled my eyes as I got off the couch.

"Yeah, yeah. I'm starving come on."

Once we got to the small diner down the road we sat quietly across from each other as we waited on the waiter to bring our food.

"Yeh bein' quiet." He said causing me to move my gaze from the window to him.

"Just thinking."

"Bout Matty?"

"No." I said with a sigh and he chuckled, "Juss kiddin' love. Jeez, I'm neva lettin' yeh drink 'gain. A hung ova yeh is no fun."

"So sorry." I responded with an eye roll causing a amused grin to hit his perfect lips.

"Yeh amuse meh."

"And I didn't even do anything."

"Yeh don't have to."

"Is that a insult?"

He laughed, "Wasn't meant ta beh."

"Yeah, yeah. You owe me now therefore you can walk Benji."

"I'm buyin' yeh lunch!"

"Yeah! You get to walk Benji because you just insulted me!"

"Bullocks!"

I nodded as I tried to keep a straight face and that just caused him to laugh even more.

"Stop laughing!"

"I'm sorrah!" He said through his laughter.

I glared at him and crossed my arms, "Does your girlfriend know you hang out with other girls?"

"I don't hang out wif otha birds. Yeh tha onlah one."

"Don't believe that."

"Believe it. Unless they're datin' one of my mates or they work for meh, I don't." He said relaxing in his seat as the waiter sat our food in front of us.

I watched him as he thanked the guy before picking up his fork.

"Well, I'm sure she wouldn't like it."

He shrugged, "Doesn't matta. Is she here?"

"No..."

"Then what's tha problem, love?" He asked looking at me with a grin.

"Just saying. I don't want your girlfriend to come after me because, I'm sure I can take her." I joked with a smirk as I leaned my arms on the table.

A laugh escaped his lips, "I don't doubt it yeh fiesty lil fang."

After we finished eating we headed back home all the while he was arguing with me about what movie was better.

"Jurassic park is not the best!" I argued as he followed me into my aunt's house.

"It is so!"

"You're delusional!"

"Me?! Yeh juss tried ta say a zombie movie was good!"

Before I could speak my phone vibrated in my hand and I held up my hand to him as I looked at the screen.

"It's Matty."

"Oh reallah?!" He said grabbing the phone from my hand.

"Oli!"

"Oh, he says, Hey, I hope it's ok that I got yeh numba from Oli. Like I didn't tell yeh! He's sillah." He said with a grin as he began to text away.

"Oliver! Stop!" I whined reaching for my phone and he quickly moved it away from my reach.

I frowned and crossed my arms at his action.

"I juss said, it's ok wif a smiley face. Birds do that righ'?"

I rolled my eyes, "I don't."

"Course yeh don't. Yeh aren't a normal bird. I forgot."

"Give me my phone back, loser." I said snatching it from him causing him to snicker.

"Gonna be wierd if yeh date my mate." He said falling onto the couch.

"How so?"

"I dunno, juss will beh. Juss rememba, I come first." He said pointing to himself and I laughed, "Oh is that so?"

"Yes. Cause yeh wouldn't have any of it if it wasn't for meh."

"You are one cocky dude." I said sitting beside him.

"It takes one to know one."

"I'm not a dude."

"Close."

I shoved him lightly and he laughed, "I'm kiddin' Soph. Yeh don't look like a guy. Yeh ratha prettah actuallah."

I felt my cheeks instantly heat up from his remark.

"Oh, um, thanks."

He nodded clearly not as phased as I felt. I tried to shake it off and go back to texting Matty although I felt myself glance at him occasionally as he texted someone himself.

"Come on. Get up. We're goin' back ta my house. Tha guys are comin' ova." He said patting my knee and I groaned, "Noooo. I'm tired and hung over."

"Come on Soph. Please?" He begged sticking his bottom lip out and I winced from how cute he looked.

"I'm sleepy." I whined laying down dramatically on the couch.

"Yeh can sleep at my place."

"No. My place is cleaner."

"Yeh haven't even been in my house."

"I don't need to!"

"Sophia!" He said scooping me up quickly and I groaned, "I don't like you."

"Yes yeh do." He said with a grin as he headed to the door.

Ok, so I didn't hate him, in fact my heart was now racing from being so close to him that I couldn't think straight and when he told me to open the door I did it without question.

He carried me across the lawn without a word and I unlocked his door for him causing him to laugh of course.

"See, not so bad is it?" He asked kicking the door shut as I looked around his living room.

"Well..."

"No." He said with a smile as he placed me on his couch.

"But your loud friends will be here." I said looking up at him and he chuckled, "Won't be bad." He whispered brushing back my hair.

"They won't be here for long. Then yeh can sleep." He added.

I sighed and sat up letting him sit beside me.

"Fine. But when Matty doesn't want to go on a date with me because I look hungover. I'm blaming you."

"Sophia, yeh look propa lovely. Yeh fine."

"You have to say that."

"Oh yeah? Why?"

"Because you are my neighbor."

"What kind of logic is that?!" He asked laughing as someone knocked on his door.

We both looked over at it and a group of boys filed in talking loudly.

"Ok, so maybeh a lil loud."

I rolled my eyes and leaned my head on his shoulder.

"Oye, is this tha girl Matty?" The tall blonde headed boy asked and Matty groaned from his seat causing Oli and I both to laugh.

"Oh yeah." Oli spoke for him.

Matty shook his head and brought his hand to his face. I couldn't help but chuckle at how embarrassed he was.

Yeah, he was pretty adorable...

"Hi, I'm Jona, this is Lee and Matt." He said pointing to the other guys who had sat down.

"Sophia." I responded with a smile.

"Yeh too fit for him yeh know?"

"Oye!" Matty finally spoke and Oli went into a fit of laughter.

"Well, it's true."

"Whateva." Matty mumbled crossing his arms.

The guys ended up staying for an hour or two and I had to say I liked hanging out with them. They were all a lot like Oli. Calm and funny. Maybe a bit more talkative, but that wasn't a bad thing.

"I'll text yeh lata." Matty said with a grin.

I nodded with a smile and he gave me a small wave before leaving. I instantly looked at Oli who had a smirk on his lips.

"Yep. I should beh a match maka!"

I rolled my eyes, "You are ridiculous."

He smiled as he leaned back into his seat, "let's go take Benji out, then we're gonna watch Jurassic Park."

"What the hell?! No!"

"Yep and Benj, can even come ova and play wif Oska so he won't be 'lone." He said grabbing my hand and pulling me from the couch like before.

"This is becoming too routine, Oliver Sykes."

He laughed loudly as we walked back into my house.

Sadly, since the routine involved him, I didn't care so much.
