“What are then?” My eyes snapped up to his sight-less ones. He didn’t even sound scared anymore, just curious.
“Well I’m not exactly sure but I can um…shift shapes.” I smiled and turned to face him when I saw a flicker of a smile on his lips.
“What’s your other form?”
“Again, I’m not exactly sure, its some sort of mixture between a wolf and a panther like big cat but its not like normal animals. It can grow to 4 times the size of an average man and run so fast you can’t see it.”
“So you were the dog/cat thing that was in the room earlier?”
“Yeah.” I scooted closer to him and smiled when he didn’t flinch away. I lifted my tail and ran it across his cheek. I laughed as he giggled and caught my tail. I closed my eyes and began to purr as he stroked it.
“You like that?”
“Mm-hmm…” He laughed and reached over to scratch behind my ears. I practically melted into a puddle at his touch, such gentle hands. Its been a long time since anyone’s touched me.
