Introduction
Some people have imagined what a zombie apocalypse would be like. But no one has actually been in one. Well, except now, of course. The year is 2015, and there is a war between what's left of humanity and the once-humans-now-zombies. My name is Nichole Reenet. I’m one of the fifty people still alive, and we formed an army, trying to protect our souls- and our brains. We live in what used to be Chicago, and the streets are seven times filthier than before the Zombris Virus came about.
What I saw in the paper, 4 months ago, was an article explaining what happened. All I remember it saying is there was a scientist gone mad and poisoned the food of several of his enemies. What he hadn’t realized is it creates enormous pain and turns you into a brain and flesh eating beast. It was too late now. Our attempts to defend what’s left means killing who would have been our parents, our friends, our teachers. But hey, I guess the military teaches you things for a reason.
