EMOTIONS OF LIFE, WITH FOG IN EYES

A THORNY STOUT AND A BEAUTIFUL ROSE

I was a stout, with lots of thorns
Crowded, but so lonely
Stuck to the earth, deep in the ground.

I was a stout with lots of charm
Mobbed with pretty roses,
Yet stuck to the earth, deep in the ground.

I was a thorny stout,
With lots of roses.
They were with me, they were in me
Yet they were far away from me.

I was thorny, they were silk-
They were beauty, I was a beast.

I was a stout, with lots of thorns
I was ugly, but I was pure.

Mobbed with beauties,
I forgot I was just a thorny stout
Pulled away from reality.
But while deep in the ground, I fell in love.

With love all around
The thorny stout
Melted for a beauty-
An angel rose with petals all beautifully carved.

A thorny stout and a beautiful rose
Were in love, deep in love.
Life turned to Spring along with love.

I was life of a beauty
With lots of love,
I was a lover with her love.
I was the sky, with a beautiful moon-
A beautiful moon and glittering stars.

Love entangled me within
As a present and a past.

One fine day someone came and plucked the rose,
My love my life, my beautiful rose,
Was in some stranger's hand.

But as if the pain of separation was just not enough,
She smiled at me, and winked at him.

Away from a thorny stout she felt cozy,
My love was no longer in love with me-
She was happy away from me.

I was a stout and she was a beauty.
She had to go someday,
But this was not what I ever expected

I am a stout-
I may bear more roses,
But not any love that once lasted.

I was a stout and she was a beauty.
Betrayal was fair and easy for her,
While I was in love.

While I was in love,
I was life of a beauty with lots of love,
I was the sky with beautiful moon-
A beautiful moon and glittering stars.

I am the stout, with lots of thorns,
A thorny stout with no love around,
I am the night with no moon,
With no moon, no stars to shine.

A stout stuck to the earth, deep in the ground.
I am thorny and she was a silk.
A silk with petals all beautifully carved.
