Killing Jar

Prologue

It’s different being able to look and being able to see. Being able to look is just knowing something’s in front, or around, you. Just knowing that something is there isn’t seeing. Seeing something is noticing it. When you look closely and pick out the little glitches in it, or when you take in the slight changes in color.

They’re just completely different things, and I never really understood the differences until recently.

I had always known her. From the age of around 2 up until now, the age of 21 – she had always been there for me. And she hopefully always will be.

She was like my… guidance. She’s a family friend, five years older than myself – she’s helped me through the tough times in my life, and helped me to overcome a lot.

I think it’s safe to say; I love her.
