“Diagnose, prescribe, cure, and repeat! That is all you ever do, but here behind those doors you have to do something more!” Alex’s eyes pinned Jaxon to the spot, cold grey meeting fiery green.

“We do more than that, you have no idea because you are scared to leave this ward! You are such a hypocrite.” Jaxon’s words echoed throughout the empty office. Alex kept his eyes locked on Jaxon as he took a step forward, his lips narrowing into a thin line.

“If you doctors had your way these patients would never get care. I would never get a chance to help them.” Jaxon felt his back hit the wall as Alex took another step closer, nearly closing the gap between them.

“You are too busy helping them to realize maybe you need help too. Why won’t you let me help you?” Jaxon locked eyes once more with Alex daring him to step away.
