My Story. (Part one in the Anya Tales)
Basics.
Training for my kind, Is like normal school for humans. It is compulsary, and only when complete, are we allowed to go up into the earth realms and walk among the Humans.
Some who go up, chose to stay, marry an earthling and live happily ever after, others go crazy – they cannot bare the stress and pain that the humans have bought to our once peacefull earth. And others go up for a holiday, or a day, but always return to the centre.
The centre is a beautiful place, filled with stalagmites touching floor to sky. Our version of the sun burning over the Kasa Kiviä .
The Kasa Kiviä is a beautiful place of rocks piled miles high with waterfalls and reservoirs. It was the most peaceful and sacred part of the Centre. It is where people went to die, to be wed and for each individuals ceremony into the life of a Morcego.
A Morcego is what we are. That is my race. A Morcego translates into 'Bat' when transferred to English. But we are not Bats, we are half bat half Human. We are what the Humans myths call Vampires.
But we are so much better than the stories. We have skin as hard as diamonds, with skills and speed beyond any technology ever created. We are the superior species to all.
And believe me.. there are a lot of species out there.
