Chapter 1: Prologue
It was nearly a year ago when I made my choice. I don’t know if that choice was the right one, but what I do know is that it defined who I am now. This is a story leading to the day I made that choice.
My name is Darren, I’m 15 and go to a London based school. Life is good, I have a loving family and mi doing well at school. I may not be the best socialiser in the world but I get by.
This is how things were, until the day that I decided that I would break my coding and experience the world.
This all happens because of a girl. Her name? Clare.
She sat opposite me in geography and the most more beautiful and intelligent girl I had ever seen. I used to spend hours staring at her but when ever she looked my way my eyes darted across the room like a shooting star, cautious not to get caught.
