All We Need Is Time

"Hey." John stood awkwardly at my bedroom door.

"Hi."

"What did I do?"

"John."

"what?"

"you Kissed me last night asshole." I watched as sudden realization hit him.

"Shit, I'm sorry if i was sober i would have made it more---"

"John IF you had been sober you would have never kissed me, in front of Halvo or any other living being, ever! so PLEASE don't stand there and lie to me." I yelled,edging on tears. i don't know why it bothered me that John had been my first kiss. i think it was more that i always had this huge unrealistic expectation about it.

"you don't know that." he muttered in frustration

"I do too, Now get the fuck out of my bed room John." I knew tears were pouring down my face I didn't care though. I heard foot steps on the stairs, a determined looking John pulled me in to a kiss so much different than the one other I'd had I couldn't even describe it. It was like... he broke away.

"I am many thing Joules, but i am not a liar." he whispered as Garrett came into view watched as realization and anger became evident on Garrett's face

"Leave John." Garrett ordered through clinched teeth.

"Joulee, can i come in.?" Garrett asked

"Yeah" I spoke into my pillow i felt my brother lay next to me.

"Gare are you mad?" i asked looking at him.

"How long have you been hiding it?" He asked

"that is the first time he--we've ever--" I trailed off deciding not to mention last night.

" you know why I don't like this right?" i shook my head "your my baby sister you aren't suppose to be macking on my best friend it just it fucks with my head. I-I think that you should wait until you are completely sure of every other controllable thing in your life or i die which ever come last" He smiled weakly.

"Gare? you are fucking mental."

he laughed and ruffled my hair.
