Terrible Things

Ever since I got back home from tour with the rest of the guys, she's been distant. Like every time I would make any contact with her, she would make up an excuse and scurry someplace else.

Today is unfortunately still counted as one of those days. We were hanging by the pool, quietly sipping on our coffee with the cool breeze hitting us.

"Eric..." I was surprised that she actually spoke up. "I...I need to tell you something."

I should've known that it was one of the "terrible things".
