Ghost

I was incredibly nervous about Nix. I knew that the outcome was going to be long, and the end would seriously hurt her, but I knew there was no getting her to back out.

"I'm helping this time." Jase argued.

"No, you're not. You're not getting yourself hurt. You don't know how draining this is." Nix argued back.

"Do they always argue like this?" Brian asked, leaning next to me, as we both watched the two bicker.

"Most of the time. They act like siblings." I said, smiling lightly.

Brian laughed. He was about to say something, but the doorbell cut him off. He flashed me a smile. "Be right back."

He returned a few minutes with a small group of people, and a large smile on his face. "Angel, these are my best friends, and bandmates."

"Hi." I said, smiling.

Brian went through each person, pointing, and telling me their name. "Matt, Arin, Johnny, and Zacky. Guys," Brian turned to me, "This is Angel."

"Already replaced Michelle?" Matt asked, sounding a little bitter.

"No." Brian half growled.

"Brian, we-" Nix froze as she entered the room and saw the group of guys, Jase right behind her.

I hadn't even noticed that they weren't arguing anymore from the kitchen.

"This is Nix and Jase." Brian introduced, then he named off all the guys again.

"Why exactly are you guys here?" Matt asked.

Nix explained how we were from TPS, and everything about Jimmy and what not.

Matt loud out a laugh of disbelief. "God, Brian, you are such a fucking retard."

"Matt-" Zacky warned.

"No, Zack. Look at him. He's fucking crazy! Now he's got these skanks up in here, taking all his money, and feeding him even more craziness. You're all fucking nutcases!" Matt raged.

"Whatch your mouth." I spit, slightly irritated with this large man.

That, and I knew what was about to happen. And I was slightly looking forward to it.

"Shut up, Skank." Matt glared at me, taking a step towards me.

I shook my head, rolled my eyes, took a step towards him, pulled my fist back.

And I punched him as hard as I could.
