Mia Quinn isn't your average 15 year old girl.
First of all her best friend is a half demon named Jeremy, who she met two years ago at the hospital where she'd been recovering from an accident.
Second of all because she has these weird powers, shes able to control flames with her fingertips, move objects with her mind, and almost seem to convince other people to do as she wishes.
So on her sixteenth birthday, when a beautiful woman dressed in a dark cloak comes and tells Mia that she's a witch, Mia isn't all that surprised. The women invites Mia to leave the hospital in order to attend a prestigious magic academy called Citadel Academy.
At this academy Mia is put into the Fox dormitory, which is said to be for girls who are very intelligent and daring. She meets her two new roommates named Dylan and Lizzy.
Mia is then introduced to a world unlike anything she'd ever experienced before, a world filled with just as much evil as good, with lies that could be life threatening and all these temptations unlike anything.
