I was mad at myself for snapping at John that way. I mean, maybe he didn't call me back and he didn't try to keep in touch. But there was no reason for him to, we agreed the morning after that party that nothing else was going to happen.
So who was I to say he should have called? Even if it had seemed like an emergency.
It didn't matter now, I needed to focus on Grace and so did he. That night we agreed to do this together now.
But John was clueless about children, this was true. I feared it was going to be like having two children, rather than just one.
When I woke up the next morning, I could hear Grace in the living room with Chelsea and I looked at the clock.

Are you serious? I hadn't slept until noon for a very long time now.
It was kind of nice.
